the manager was rude, looked down his noes and acted like we didn't belong there. we had just arrived after driving several hours and were in traveling clothes. the email said I could check in but upon arriving he told us the room was not ready and I needed to sit in the lobby to wait. it was about 430pm well passed check in time. I had req to stay on the same floor as friends and he said with a tone, because of the room type, there is only one on each floor. I told him I didn't need to have that type of room if it meant we could stay on the same floor. he said no, in a very rude tone. when my friends walked up who he had checked in prior, who are at the highest level of members you can be, his tone totally changed and an hour later put me on the same floor as them. I didn't know you had to be elite to be treated with respect. When speaking to the girl that worked the desk at night, I voiced my concerns, I was told I was not the only one who has had problems with him. I felt very looked down on, when I was there for an event that is not for the "poor" for sure. He needs to not be judging someone because of what they choose to wear when they are traveling for hours.

I had decent expectations for the Aloft from what I've heard about it. This location was very small, not sure if that's normal for these hotels, or maybe that's just because it's the location and being downtown. As for the room, you had to hold the handle down to flush, the bathroom did would not stay closed, and the pillows were terrible. It's a great location if you have an even at BOK or the Arvest Convention Center, but the amount of homeless people around there is abundant. It does not feel very safe if you are out as a single female or female with child like I was.

The room was great. I wish we knew they were painting our side of the building... We could not see out our windows for our stay. They comped our parking which was nice. We choose the Aloft due to its close proximity to the BOK Center. It never disappoints.
