Location was perfect. 2 blocks from the train station, Hockey Hall of Fame, hockey arena, etc.

We stayed here on our way home, between train and bus transportation and were equally impressed the second time in one week. Different staff, different room but same excellent experience.
We were looking for a hotel room to accomodate an overnight stay between our bus into Toronto and our train to Quebec City the next day. We wanted a place close to the train station but didn't need all the amenities that often come with hotels in the area. The Strathcona Hotel ticked all the boxes plus more! It was one and a half blocks from the bus depot and one block from the train station (awesome for our 6:40 AM train). The front-desk attendant was VERY friendly and the room clean and well equiped for our one night stay. (Note no fridge, which was fine for us) The rates are beyond reasonable for the area and we would DEFINATELY stay again!
