Great hotel, great room. Only issue is that there currently is a lot of construction around the hotel which made accessing it on a Friday evening a little bit of an adventure.

The location was perfect! Walking distance to everything. The only reason why I didn’t give it a 5 star was that they didn’t even provide bottled water for guests and I asked for a later checkout and they can only give me 30 minutes beyond checkout time.

Everything was clean and tidy. Walkable to Union Station and Rogers Centre. It was a bit confusing to find the door closest to the reception area for checking in... rather than haul luggage down some stairs and thru the eating/drinking area.

Great meet up with friends at Teller’s Bar. Superb service from Junard and Andreas, who always remember us and greet us like old friends. Lovely atmosphere. Great room. Sauna and hot tub are excellent. All over great experience as usual at 1KW.
