It is not a luxury hotel but good price and options to spend the night. Basic breakfast but enough for the traveler, and this is the style in US. just cross the road there is a petrol station has a super market with all necessary items.
The hotel is very nice and clean- great location good price and worth it. Every thing is near hotel.....family trip... we will be back again....excellent service at front desk-breakfast was very nice....nice and clean pool ...............................................!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Clean rooms. Comfortable beds and the pool area was clean. Breakfast was typical. Carpet in hallways could stand to be replaced (or at least cleaned.) Very easy to find. We will definitely stay here again.
We were traveling and just needed a place to sleep, but I wouldn't choose this place again. We were greeted with a musty smell when we walked in. Rooms were clean, but very small. Fit the bill for a night's crash, but prefer a newer place to avoid the "smell of age."
The rooms were a good value, clean and comfortable for the price. Free WIFI worked well, had a hot breakfast with eggs and sausage, waffles plus cereal & fruit. Pool area was well kept. Some of the common areas need some carpet replacement and/or deep cleaning. Convenient location to major shopping, dining and interstates. Rooms have refrigerators/ microwaves and the staff is friendly.
The room was small but clean. No elevators. They give a discount if you are staying there while visiting someone at Stormont Vail Hospital. Location is very convenient for shopping and restaurants. Continental breakfast was limited but acceptable.
Hotel overall was fine, it sits near the highway, but the noise was not bad. There was however some negatives: No elevator - desk staff were at times unavailable The room we stayed in had a leak around the window and mildew was present...advised the front desk at check out, hope they took care of it.
We stayed at this hotel as we were travelling through Kansas. It was horrible. We have stayed at many Choice hotels as we travelled cross country and if we were not so tired we would have left. I ended up cleaning the bathroom .. commode dirty, hair on floor, cig burns in quilt (non smoking room) sheets stained, horrible mattress... I could go on and on.... I brought my concerns to the desk clerk/manager and he was very non concerned..... DO NOT STAY HERE!
We were pleasantly surprised by the motel. It is clean and quiet. The pool and hot tub were spotless. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Would definitely stay again. There are many restaurants and shopping nearby so that was a big plus for us passing through.
I checked into this hotel after booking it sight unseen online. The grounds are okay and the entry is a little tattered. Upon check-in I was notified that the hotel was smoking and pot smoking friendly. If I hadn't prepared for this hotel I probably would have left and should have. I checked into my non-smoking room that smell like smoke. I've stayed in much nicer Motel 6 to give you an idea of the level of this place. The bathroom is filthy has pictures shown. I'm not for sure if Topeka just doesn't have a good hotel stock or I just found a well-reviewed Hotel that has a bad room
