I stayed here for a couple nights on a business trip. The room was clean and comfortable. I had only one problem that caused me to deduct a star on my review, and that's the shower head. Not unique to this hotel, as the shower heads always leave much to be desired in every hotel I've ever stayed in, but this one was particularly bad. Why can't hotels just have shower heads where the water comes out of each hole? I tried every setting and they were all pathetic. Nothing with just a simple shower of water! It was either a light showery mist coming out of the outer holes only so that the entire center is bone dry, or a little trickle coming out of the center only, or a strange pulsating stream that was totally useless. It took me an hour of struggling in vain to rinse shampoo out of my hair. I ended up having to just run the faucet and try to rinse it that way because the shower was so ineffective. So I deducted a star for the poor shower heads, but otherwise I was pleased with the hotel and would stay there again.

Hotel met my expectations. Clean and nice. I will stay again when in the area.

Booked with O r b I t z as we drove to hotel hit bad weather. Cars overturned and in ditches called the Hotel and was informed that since we booked with O they would not move or cancel but if we had booked directly they could take care of us...

The room felt a little more upscale than we expected. We had 2 queen beds and it did feel a little tight, but for our one night stay everything was great.

Good value, very nice hotel, great breakfast, great location for us would stay here for sure.

The hotel was in a great location for us, while visiting family in Topeka; it was a few miles away from our get together at Gage Park. The motel was clean, and the staff were very courtesy and polite and accommodating. The only thing that I wished they would of had was a heated pool. The pool water was very chilly. Loved the hot tub for relaxation. On our last day there, we had to leave bright and early; left before breakfast was to be served. I had asked the front desk staff it they minded if I took a banana or two for our trip. They had no problem with this, when I went in the dining area I was greeted by one of the breakfast set up crew, very accommodating when I told her about us having to leave before breakfast being served because we had a 14hr drive; this staff was very willing to give us toast, bagels, donuts anything that we wanted for our trip out. I want to thank her for that. If we travel to this area again, we would stay at this hotel and would recommend it to family/friends that also would be traveling to this area.

Hotel was very clean, staff was friendly and helpful. My room was MUCH larger than normal at a hotel in this price range. Lots of restaurant options nearby.

After a nightmare stay the night before we were blessed to get a room here for not much over what we paid at a nasty motel. Awesome awesome awesome! Clean friendly and will stay there anytime I am in Topeka!

This was a VERY Nice Hotel smell fresh the minute I walk into it. Everything was perfect

We stopped in Topeka on our trip from Denver to St. Louis. This was a perfect hotel with a vast number of surrounding restaurants, a pool with hot tub, superior beds, and a great breakfast. We are budget-minded teachers who have learned that when choosing a hotel, it is WELL worth spending the extra dollars on a Hampton Inn versus a cheaper alternative.

Great service and very nice room. Breakfast was very good.

The room was excellent, the bed great, plenty of amentities. Hotel staff was friendly

We were in Topeka for a wedding. My husband and I played golf at the cypress ridge city course while our daughter spent her day with the bride. Wonderful shopping and restaurants close to the hotel. Don't eat at Rib Crib, though, it wasn't as busy as other restaurants so we tried it and it was not good!
