We really love this spot. It has a cafe down stairs, there are 3-4 convenience stores that are walking distance, less than 5 minute walk. This spot is just overall really good and quiet.

If we can have separate toothpaste and toothbrush pick up that would be great. The toothpaste is too small of a portion and we have to waste a toothbrush almost everyday just for the toothpaste

Property was easy to get to with mutiple train stations within a 10 minute walk. Room size and bathroom are good, especially for the price. Beds are quite hard which may not be for everyone

We enjoyed our stay at The Tourist Hotel and Cafe Akihabara. Location is on a quiet side street away from the hustle and bustle but only a short 6 min walk to Akihabara station. Check in was smooth and staff were friendly and helpful. Free coffee 24hrs a day. The rooms were small compared to North American standards but still had room for luggage storage under the raised platform the holding the futons. The cafe itself had a small menu but pastries were fresh and tasty. Lots of small restaurants nearby to check out.

Close-ish to the jr station and the Ginza line. Definitely on the quieter side of Akihabara. Wasn't the cleanest...lots of hair and random detritus on the bed platform and window ledge. Internet/wifi speed is mediocre. Other than that, the room layout is actually quite good. Very functional and usable floor plan...lots of room to place your suitcase.

Excellent hotel at a great price point. Just close enough to the main Akihabara shopping area and train station, but just far enough to be quiet and not busy. Great amenities like free coffee all day, free bottled water, toothbrush and razors and pajamas and slippers provided . Can't think of one thing wrong with this stay

Very good hotel if you’re on a budget. The hotel is in good condition. Room size is typical Tokyo hotel and the mattress is firm. There is a cafe on the main floor but we didn’t eat there. Staff can make you black coffee 24/7. Location is convenient with major department stores like Yodobashi and Bic within walking distance.

This was one of the most convenient hotels we stayed in. It's super close to the Akihabara jr station. And it was one of the only hotels where the staff all spoke English. I would recommend this if you do not speak any Japanese whatsoever. However we find that it lacking in the Japanese hospitality. It just feels like any hotel you could stay in, any country. It's got no soul.

Very simple check in process, nice staff. Amenities provided are decent. Great value for the price. Unfortunately I found blood stains on the bed scarf (if that what it's called) which I wasn't particularly impressed with - pretty minor though so I'll give it a pass.
