Hyatt Regency Tokyo

4.5 out of 5.0

A reasonably good location but the hotel is tired. The rooms are closet-size, the bathrooms claustrophobic. The restaurants offer marginal food and very expensive, and you get all that for the bargain price of $300 per night. I will not go back.

Hotel was a great base for exploring Tokyo. About a quarter mile from Shinjuku station, also accessible through a tunnel during inclement weather. 711 store in basement was very convenient. I would definitely stay there again.

When we went to the hotel from Narita airport we were checked in to our room very quickly. The room was impeccably clean. Room service was prompt and it was the best room service ever. The staff was extremely courteous and helpful. The pastry shop was a delight. The courtesy shuttle bus to the Shinjuku station was punctual and very useful after long day trips. I would absolutely go back to the Hyatt Regency Tokyo again.

over all good to stay at hotel with your family or lover. Very good location and conveinience place. i like to recommend to other people.

Stayed there for ten days while touring the city. Nice quiet surroundings in contrast to the hustle and bustle of East Shinjuku. Hotel has a shuttle to the station or it's a ten minute walk via underground tunnel or surface streets to Shinjuku. I would stay there again if in Tokyo.

Everything is great except the way the wifi works: they give you a little emitter that needs to be plugged in to one of the only two (!!) adapters in the room *and* to the ethernet cable. Thus, there is only one electricity supply to use, and they charge you 300Y per 24 hours per device that you use. Quite inconvenient and not really very cheap.

Overall, the hotel was great. Everyone was very nice and helpful. Great selection of food and room service was of high quality. Was a quick walk to subway or they have a shuttle.

The hotel was beautiful and clean, and the staff was very friendly and service oriented. Central area to a lot of great little restaurants in Shinjuku.

This was our 2nd time staying in this hotel. But this time we were with our new born baby. Their service was great as last time but wish they let us take our baby to the pool side so one of us could take turn to swim. Their room service and restaurant on the main floor were both nice. Wish the location was a bit closer to the station.

The location of the hotel is very convenient to go every place and it is surrounded by up scaled office buildings. Fitness, Pool and Spa are excellent and clean. All staff member took care of me very well. There are some expensive restaurant in the hotel but also it connects a convenient store at basement floor.

A great experience from staff especially. The concierge was very helpful in providing directions to reccomendations.

The hotel is wonderful , and warm feeling from staff, anf free shuttle to substion bus to the subway station, afitness center and swimming pool are very comfortable! Good location and price for this business trip

great had 7/11 under it for snacks We also had people meet is in the restaurant very friendly staff

This hotel is one station away from Shinjuku (a major metropolitan hub in Tokyo). There are two smaller subway stops right next to the hotel, the hotel operates a free shuttle to Shinjuku, and there is an underground passageway from Shinjuku to the hotel. Very quiet, peaceful but convenient area to stay. The hotel is a little old but is well maintained. The room was a comfortable size and very clean. All the staff are very helpful.

I picked Hyatt Regency Tokyo this time because my family had stayed here before and had good experience. I had several business meetings with clients in the hotel. The restaurants are somewhat pricey but acceptable. The amenities are very good and the staff are well trained. It is a bit far from Shinjuku station if you walk but they do provide free shuttle to the station.
