When my family and I arrived, It was a foul oder in the room. The left an empty toilet tissue role in the bathroom instead of changing it out. The floor was wet because of the AC unit. The AC unit stop working in the room. We was on the first floor, but the elevator stop working twice within in a weekend. There was a backdoor entry point by parking which we can use our room key to get in, but the key pad to enter was not working. This hotel needs a serious upgrade. I will not come back here unless they upgrade this hotel.

Poor experience

Elevator was broken and we had to carry 3 kids and luggage close to midnight. Wasn’t called or notified until we checked in at front desk. Couch was dirty. When we showered in AM I pulled back curtain and dirty, wet washcloths fell off the curtain, up top. The sink wasn’t dry, like someone ran water prior to us. Toilet was dirty at edges and towels had stains. We also couldn’t enter through other doors due to the system crash. When elevators fixed next morning, only one worked. So we waited ten minutes and then carried everything down again through 3 flights of stairs. Everyone on support staff was nice but the experience was poor and we just needed a spot to sleep over night. We considered swimming but it smelled so strongly of sewage we didn’t stay. Won’t be back.

Don’t stop in this one!

We arrived around 8 PM and immediately found 3 bugs in the bathroom. We just got rid of them and moved on. My daughter brought McDonald’s into the room about 9 PM. That is when the hugs really came out. I guess the smell interested them. We went to the front desk after we saw 7 bugs. We took a picture of one bug with us that we saw as we were opening our door to leave the room. The front desk told us the hotel was full and offered us Hilton Points to stay. At that point I said we were leaving. They then reminded me I reserved the room through hotels.com so I would need to contact them to make sure I could get a refund. Given another room online was $100 more than I was currently paying and I could not get my refund, I went back to my room to figure out the refund before leaving. By this point it is almost 10 PM and we had to leave by 7 AM the next morning. We decided to move all of our bags to the car, to prevent bringing bugs home in them. We used our own blankets and stayed for the night. We should have walked away before we even made it to the room. We were on the 4th floor and they clearly have had roof issues. The wallpaper in the halls is peeling down from the top. The walls in the bathroom are bubbling from moisture. The flooring at the elevator is being held down with duct tape. You felt like you could not walk around without shoes on.

Room was everything we needed. However the ac quit working in the evening time. Woke up to the room being 78 degrees. Enjoyed the room just the temperature was too warm for my liking. The management called a technician to fix the problem.

Great Stay

I was there for an event at the Rainwater Conference Center and stayed there overnight. The beds were very comfortable, friendly staff, great location not to far from eating establishments.

I love Hampton Inns and usually stay at them. However this one wasn’t quite as nice as others. Lobby is very nice but when you get to the rooms you can tell how out dated they are. Hallway floors are dirty. Staff was very nice and I will continue to use Hampton hotels but maybe not this one.
