We had to get a room in a hurry, and didn't want to spend a fortune. This was a great deal cheaper than other motels in the area so we were prepared to have minimal comforts. Wrong-oh! First, let me talk about the shower: It was a religious experience. The water was so hot and so fast that I wanted to stand in it all day. Water pressure was so good, the adjustable shower head worked on all settings, which is extremely rare. It wasn't a handicapped room, but there were plenty of grab bars and the tub was very non-slip, which are important features for old folks like me. The towels were not just soft, they were bath sheets, which are much larger than standard bath towels. And there were plenty of them. The room itself was incredibly large with enough room for another small desk (hint hint). Well lit with plenty of adjustable lamps. There is a freeway next to it, so not quite quiet, but that's kinda to be expected. In short, this is one of the best travel values I've ever found. I would stay here any time.
We had a King room and got stuck on the freeway side of the hotel. When I mentioned it the next morning to front desk clerk, she just said it was because of the King room. She didn't seem to care, but just so you know we did not sleep well. Our room was small but fine and the breakfast was fine. I strongly recommend Choice Hotels offer flavored creamer for their coffee. Their coffee is not the best. I must not forget, the girl that checked us in late Friday night 9/29, was a delight!
The beds were amazing. I wanted to take them home! The breakfast was not too bad; pretty basic for a hotel. The tv was great, the a/c ice cold, and the rooms clean. The shower was the best I've had in a hotel; even better than the timeshare I've been in previously. The only issue was the confusing location behind the Quality Inn, the signage was lacking, the sloooooow wifi, and the pool being out of commission. It is nearly 90 degrees in Georgia, and we couldn't go for a swim. Should have taken 10 bucks off the room rate for not having a pool. I also wasn't too fond of the parking lot being away from the room; I like keeping an eye on my car. Otherwise, relaxing stay!
My buddy and I spent the night here on our way home from a series at SunTrust Park. This property shares a parking lot with Quality Inn, and having stayed at the Quality Inn in 2016, my advice is to book a room there. I-85 traffic made this property feel like you were at the end of the runway for the airport. The roar lasted all night, and I gave up @ 4:45 am and got up and dressed for the day. The place is clean and fairly new, but the interstate is just a pitching wedge out the back door. With the quality inn just yards away choose the other Choice Hotels property.
I have been a member of this hotel chains travelers club for years. Some of the hotels are excellent while some need work. This one is in pretty good shape but could use some upgrades. We were in town for the 70th birthday of a dear friend and wanted to stay close to Hammerheads where the function was held and we found this hotel. Upon check-in, we were told they were sold out and the reasons which was probably reflected in the price. We expected a noisy evening but were pleasantly surprised how quiet it was all night long.We checked out on the tail end of breakfast hours and the staff went the extra mile getting my wife something the buffet was out of---nice finish to an enjoyable stay.
Room was very huge, bed really comfortable. A/C wasn't putting out a lot of cold air even though it was set on 63. Front desk ladies were nice at checkout. Drink machine on 1st floor took our money & front desk person didn't seem to care. Asked for late check out & front desk person said she would let housekeeping know. At 11:00 am housekeeping was knocking on door. Location is great- close to restaurants, movie theater & expressway. I would definitely stay here again, but would make sure a.c in room is kicking.
We have stayed at this Comfort Inn and Suites for several years and have always found it to be comfortable for a several day stay. The desk employees are great..always friendly and willing to give any information you need while in the area. Leslie at the front desk is amazing ! They have redecorated since our last visit, and are continuing to do more each year. We have found if anything is wrong, they will do whatever possible to correct the problems for you.
If you find yourself in GA and the weather is hot...stay away from this hotel. AC was on its last leg, bsthroom was falling apart, the room needs a new face lift, breakfast was horrible!!! Pay a few dollars more and you might get a better cleaner hotel...
I am beyond FRUSTRATED with how I was double billed for a room in which I SHOWED UP, CHECKED IN, attended my event Dec 2016. My room was prepaid in October 2016, I reserved a room prior to the prepay, the same day of the prepaid room I called, spoke to a rep whom told us on the call the reservation was CANCELED for the Dec 2016 stay. I checked my credit card and was charged $124.xx for a NO SHOW. I am LIVID. I WILL NEVER EVER reserve or book another stay at Comfort Inn & Suites for my business trips, personal nor community events ever again. In addition I am sending the info to my business corporate office for others to not book either. I could have stayed in another hotel for over $200 for the night. I've booked and stayed in Comfort Inns for YEARS and have never had such horrible service. This review is not about the staff nor the hotel for my stay it IS about robbing me of $125 for a no show when I clearly was there, provided the receipt I SIGNED FOR when I checked in and out and provided to me from the staff.
This is by far worse comfort inn the room huge just empty space, for 117.00 I was ripped off supposed to be a suite, bed supposed to be king it wasn't, room big with empty space TV so far back can barely see, old model fridge and microwave, stained rag in bathroom of room 201 that supposed to be nice suite, DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME, PLEASE GO, 10 MINUTES DOWN ROAD TO BEST WESTERN EXIT 104, BETTER ROOM, DEFINITELY LOT CLEANER,. BIG COMFY BED, AIR/HEAT WORKS, AND YOU CAN SEE THE TV OH MUST MENTION NEAR EVERYTHING WITHIN WALKING, N WITH TAX N ALL 96.00, YOU WILL DEFINITELY THANK ME, and I usually stay different hotels on weekends, this probably be last time I stay here it's a disgrace to comfort suites!
