It was clean and they have dining within the hotel. It is near a mall area that makes it more attractive and stuff like Starbucks, CVS, Dunkin are 10 minutes away. Validate parking.

Okay hotel for one night

Front desk staff super friendly and helpful. Hotel itself is showing some wear and tear, both in the peeling wallpaper in the hallways and the scratched vanity in the individual rooms. Bed is fine but pillows are not amazing. Convenient location, just off of 95 and very close to downtown and a ton of restaurants.

There was a very serious incident our last night in the hotel that I called the front desk about. Apparently about two dozen others had gone down to the desk to complain about it as well, the manager could've cared less about everyone's safety and gaslighted us about our concerns. Will never stay there again.

Overall, not a great experience at the Stamford Hotel. When we arrived we were immediately told that the system was down and that we were going to be unable to access our room with our key, so we'd have to get escorted to our room by security. No problem with these, as we know that issues happen. The problem arises when you inform the staff you'd like to access your room and they take thirty mins to help you. The staff was rude and uncordial. They made my room go through a service elevator which was really dirty. Additioanlly, the air conditioning was really loud. Not the greatest experience. The staff could have handle it better. On the bright side, they did provude us with great recommendations of things to do in Stamford.

The bite was fine for our one night, booked last-minute trip. It was affordable, and centrally located for us. However, there were a few things about the room that were less than desirable (a huge stain in the carpet, a sock left from a previous guest, the sink sprayed water all over the vanity. Would consider staying again, hoping it was one bad room.
