The rooms are dark, paints dark. Large rooms but basic amenities like as simple as tea bags missing. When it is hard to find food in Hartford downtown after 8:00 pm, why can’t they offer at least microwave? Bathroom had more light than room itself. Entire atmosphere was gloomy and scary in the room.
The property was great. We did have an issue with people yelling in the hallway in the middle of the night and keeping everyone up.
Air conditioner worked but made an awful noise and kept waking us up at night. A hotel charging this rate should not have problems like that.

They screwed up our booking. Floors were black with dirt so we actually had to damp mop the floors. When we requested a few things it wasn’t brought to our room and we were told to come pick it up. I work in high end hospitality and I’m pretty understanding of things especially during Covid, but this was just ridiculous for the almost 300 dollars a night

Great customer service and amenities (especially the gym). The room (king size suite) was very clean, modern, and comfortable. The location to the beautiful Connecticut River and nice restaurants was also a plus.
Lovely hotel! I would stay there again. Only problem was there was a Keurig machine in the room with no K-cups!

That was without a doubt one of the nicest hotel rooms I’ve ever stayed in !! The authentic fireplace & mantle, entrance area, bathroom was huge, beautiful and interesting.
