BRING WATER SHOES!!! We had a great time at Bolongo Bay. Our room was on the 2nd floor on the beach. Room is spacious & comfortable bed. Great beach bar Iggie's next to the hotel. They have a lot of events/activities everyday. Catamaran & dive shop on site.

Overall it was a great time. We did not do the all inclusive because we wanted to eat at other places when were were venturing out during the day. The beach was a bit rocky so take your pool shoes. We did rent a car and go to other beaches on the island. We had a wonderful and relaxing time.

We wanted a week to get away and relax. This is the spot to go to do that. We have been to other all inclusive hotels in the past and this one is like no other. Most all inclusive hotels focus their staff to constantly upsell, Bolongo Bay does not do that. There is no pressure to upsell and the time we did choose something that would have cost us more, they told us and confirmed with us that is what we wanted to do. Bolongo is family owned and you can tell by the atmosphere. It was like going to a second home. Everything you could want to do was available at the resort. Snorkle, scuba, watersports and more. We thought about taking a day trip to St. John but decided to sip on their frozen cocktails on the beach. We were not disappointed. This is the first place were we want to come back as a family of 5. Small issues with the hot water in the hotel room but they fixed that for us. Otherwise, no complaints. The room may not be a 5 star, but we were fine with that since we only slept in the room. It was still very clean and nice, just not your fancy travertine tile decor. The best part was the privacy of the beach. They have their own cove to relax in. Most hotels on the beach you have to be out early for great beach chairs, not here. It seemed most of the guest left or went into town during day. So while the hotel may have been full, the beach was only 30% occupied most of the time. Privacy on a St Thomas beach, priceless!

The hotel was average. Nothing blew me away but it was clean and served it's purpose. The shower is incredibly small. I did like that there was lots of options at your fingertips beach, pool, water toys such as kayaks and paddle boarding included, swim up bar, and Iggy's right next to the hotel (I found this bar to be dirty and the food was horrible). However, Iggy's did get loud at night so if you plan on going to bed early, bring your earplugs. Oniell was a phenominal taxi driver that works out of this hotel. Beware that this hotel is not near anything else within walking distance, so any we as a couple got into a cab to go anywhere it cost us ~$20 each way. Highly suggest a rental car for anything longer than a weekend.

We had a great stay at Bolongo Bay. The service was excellent. The rooms are dated but the srvice and food made up for it. Lots of fun at Iggies bar staff is super friendly . We went snorkeling and used a lot of their other water sports, super fun.

We had the all inclusive, the food was great. Our room was comfortable. We were there to celebrate a child's birthday and a wedding. The event planner did an awesome job. Both events were perfect.

It was very relaxing. I enjoyed my time. The rum punch at check-in was delicious!

great time staff was great , buzz hunt was awesome ,iggies was a nice place to eat , coconut shrimp was delicious , definitely recommend it, take a trip to St John , megans bay ,etc much to do

Bolongo Bay is in a beautiful location. The food and nightlife are both good here. Entertainment varies but was all good.

Bolongo Bay will give you the bang for your buck. Amazing food with delicious seafood options! We loved the lobster and fish tacos. If you like seafood, I recommend staying here. The resort also has excursions such as snorkeling with turtles and a day excursion to St. John. Don't expect the hotel to be fancy. After all, the hotel is three stars so it is average.

This is one of the worst places that I have ever vacationed at. We had to cut our vacation short and switch to another resort. The rooms seemed unclean, the beach was rocky and the food wasn't good.

The staff could not have been any better!! Everything was awesome!! It was so nice to not have to leave the property if we did not want to!!

My husband and I stayed at Bolongo Bay June 2014. We stayed for 8 days. It was Great !! The room, beach, restaurant and bar was wonderful. Staff was so nice and helped with all our questions on excursions. We enjoyed the sun set cruise, swimming with the turtles and many of the beach amenities there at Bolongo Bay. Would HIGHLY recommend Bolongo Bay for family and couples to just get away on a vacations. Special note for the restaurant at Bolongo Bay "Excellent" dinning. Great food and atmosphere. Thank you for a Great Get Away !!! Currie June 2014

The staff was helpful but not very polite. It was tricky to adjust the shower knob for adequate supply of hot water in our room. The air conditioning unit was very noisy and appeared too powerful for the size of the room. We slept with window shutters open and did not turn the unit on. The hotel and its rooms are visibly dated. The location at this quiet bay is quite good for leisurely swimming, kayaking, boating, snorkeling and other activities that are mostly included in the price, which is a welcome perk. The restaurants are pretty good. The resort can provide for a relaxing family vacation.

Bolongo Bay is on a beautiful cove in a gorgeous location. It it the most beautiful view I have ever woken up to, ever. Our room was ocean front and on the second level. The room was just ok. Nothing special. Kind of old but clean. The shower knob kept coming off but we still got the water to work. The pool is much smaller than it looks in the pictures but it is nice. Was fun to swim up to a bar and have a man nicknamed "007" prepare our drinks! There is a restaurant called Iggy's which was just awesome! Fresh food and nightly entertainment. All in all, I liked the place and the service a lot. Traveled in February when rates are probably the highest but OUCH were they expensive for the class of hotel it was. Glad we went though.

Bolonga Bay is an excellent get away location. The food was excellent, the staff friendly and attentive. Possibly the best vacation ever as far as location and the staff were concerned. The hotel is not fancy, but is clean and well kept, and located right on the Bay.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bolongo Bay. You cant get a better value for such a great place on St Thomas. Beautiful beach, great restaurants, and the friendliest staff on the island. Also a great location. Quiet and still close to everything you may need. Will definitely stay here again !

This resort is JUST OK. It is a 2 star resort, but a good 2 star resort. Everything is aging and needs upgrading. The food is unremarkable. The staff could also up grade their indifferent attitude.

We prefer the Marriott but wasn't available. Rooms are older and not as clean but the staff was very nice and for a short stay it was just fine! Pool is small but there is a swim up bar and the restaurant isn't bad.

We booked at last minute to stay one night before flight back home. Room was fine , Lobster Grill pretty good and beach area was lovely. Only complaint is there were quite a few mosquitos in the room which proved annoying
