I had a great experience at the resort. Initially we asked for a beach front view. The room we received had a beach front view but it was blocked by the trees. The staff understood our concerns and changed our room to an excellent beach view. The taxi driver they have on staff is excellent. The restaurant they have on site was great!! Happy hour specials with good food and drinks. The room was clean. The beach was nice and relaxing. I would definitely stay here again in the future.

Nice self-service units directly on a beautiful beach. Beach can get a bit overtaken by day trippers and cruise ship people, but the chaises and umbrellas are only for resort guests and the beach attendants do a good job of enforcement.

The very friendly personnel at this resort make sure you have everything you need from check in, housekeeping, to fun beach attendants and the bar staff. Loved it!

Pros: stocked kitchens, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, close to beach, onsite restaurant, close to Redhook restaurants. Cons: Location is too hidden, not easy to find. outdated condos, beach was not as beautiful as pictured (may be due to semi-cloudy weather?) Lots & lots of mosquitoes? More than other places we stayed at in St. Thomas & St John? (Could be due to location?), no onsite laundry mat, no washer/dryers in units. (laundry service available for a fee)

My Family and i had an amazing time!!! We will most defenectly stay again!!

Beautiful place. Gorgeous views. Room much nicer than I thought it would be. Grounds were gorgeous, too. Restaurant had good food & service. Close to ferries, more restaurants and grocery store, too. Wi-Fi was good. Only con would be weak water pressure in shower. Would definitely return.

The staff was amazing and the beach was nice and private and beautiful

Lovely stay & location away from the busy Red Hook area. Beautiful resort! Condo was nicely updated. Quieter resort, but beautiful, if that is what you're looking for.

Loved this place!! Nice views & our 2 bedroom ocean view suite was awesome!!

Everything I had hoped for..our Studio was spacious & perfect for us... A Senior couple. Fine King bed; small fully equipped kitchen, large TV & WIFI included. All this and a beautiful beach steps for our patio. Low key, but friendly Grille on site.

If you like to snorkel, relax on a breathtaking white sand beach this is the place to stay! Snorkeling directly off the beach was fantastic. Chairs and towels readily available. Trees provide great shade for those who need to stay in the shade, like me! Sunny open spots are available. We had a Studio unit on a corner first floor. This was splendid. We walked directly out onto the beach. The room was clean and comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. Refrigerator and stove available. Lovely patio to enjoy coffee in the morning. Each unit is individually owned and decorated. So each room will be different. Food at the restaurant was very good. There was variety on the menu. The bar drinks were great. The view of the beach and water from the table while eating were relaxing and beautiful. I did not see the pool. It is shared with another complex and not easily accessible from the beach. This is a disappointment for me, I love a pool. However, this will not deter our return to this idyllic beach resort!

It's ok. not the ritz. But nice not to worry bout kids tearing anything up. Nice on the beach. Most fouled up wiring configuration I have ever seen for lights and appliances plugs etc.

Great value for the money... Very nice resort with awesome views and very cordial staff.

Clean fresh and a friendly staff. Have visited many times and always enjoyed it. However the secret is out and we had to deal with cruise ship excursions that made a comfortable beach very crowded.

Probably my favorite location of the island. Pros: good amenities, very nice beach, beautiful views, nice people in reception, in restaurant staff. Cons: Insects, room service stuff is not awfully friendly on average, but that's a norm for the island,

I found this hotel through searches on the internet. It was absolutely fabulous. I did not realize it was a "condo hotel" and actually did not expect the full apartment I got. It was clean and beautifully decorated. Upon arrival we were greeted by a very nice gentleman who offered us a rum punch. The location can't be better as it is in a spectacular bay.

Secret Harbor is a comfortable hotel in a nice private location. There are plenty of chairs and umbrellas but no water toys except for rental. Snorkeling is good with reefs just off the beach and lots of fish. The one bedroom condo was dated but just steps from the beach. The rooms were very clean and maid service was good. Staff was very competent. When booking ask for a ground floor in building three. You step out on the beach but building three is elevated so your are not in a fish bowl.

Very nice staff. Beautiful views, beach, snorkeling awesome. The bar and restaurant were very good and the bar side food very good. Room clean and maintained every day. Wonderful property and very clean. Staff always willing to assist. Perfect tropical location not overly busy but busy enough to feel exciting. Great harbor /bay location. Will be back again for sure.

When we arrived at the hotel we were a little concerned by the drabness of the lobby and the sullenness of the desk staff. It seemed to me that some of the employees were ill-suited to the hospitality industry. On arriving at our suite however, those initial impressions faded quickly as we stepped out on the veranda overlooking a beautiful bay and a warm, inviting beach. We quickly shed our travel clothes and grabbed our snorkel gear and began what was to be the best week of fun and relaxation we've had in a long time. The suite was clean and well appointed with all the usual amenities though I thought the bathroom was in need of some renovation. There was one minor issue that we encountered with the suite and that was immediately resolved by the hotel. Each of the suites is privately owned but managed by the hotel so there is some element of chance in the degree of comfort you'll find but all in all, it worked well for us. There were no laundry facilities within the suite or the hotel which was a little inconvenient but again, not a deal breaker. The location is quite secluded and best suited for couples and people with young families. If you are vacationing with teenagers or young adults, they probably would hate the tranquility of this location. The resort has an excellent restaurant and we ate there several times. There are many good restaurants on the Island and St. John's is a quick ferry ride away so we had no shortage of variety. There is a dive shop at the resort that also arranges boating activities and they did an amazing job organizing a day on a sail boat for us that was just what we were looking for. You can rent cars or rely on taxis to get you around. We had called the hotel before we arrived and they recommended that unless we planned to do a lot of driving, we'd be better off with taxis. We took their advice and didn't regret it. The roads are narrow, the cars are all left hand drive and they drive on the left hand side of the road - not a stress reducing combination. In contrast, the taxis are inexpensive (you pay per person, not per ride), readily available and, with the right driver, can provide an impromptu tour guide for the island. There are many good beaches on the islands and we visited several. But ultimately, the beach at this resort offered the best balance of sand, sun, swim and snorkeling.
