I love that the Staff in lobby were so Professional and KIND!! Service with a SMILE everytime. I also LOVED the guys who drive the carts. Such SWEET young men & very helpful too. However, I didn't like the Restaurant on the property 😕 The food was horrible and the staff RUDE!! PLEASE don't include the bar because the Bartenders were Amazing.

Parking of cars was nearly impossible. Seaweed by beach near only Restaurant had bad smell. We had ants invading our room. They came and sprayed outside. We had to buy ant spray and kill all in the room. Room itself was nice. Location of resort was a couple of miles to Red Hook where restaurants, shopping, and markets were available. Upper Pool and swim up bar was nice, but no food at bar. Overall 4 out of 5 rating.

The resort was very nice overall. The beach on the property was a bit of a disappointment and the area around the resort was a little sketchy. However, the staff on site was very nice and accommodating.

Stayed with my husband for our Wedding Anniversary and we loved it . When we arrived at the hotel our room was not ready but we got lucky and got an upgrade of a room that was available. The room views were amazing and the room was really clean. The only had one restaurant on the resort, they had good options of food but that could be better. If this resort was an all inclusive it would’ve been amazing!!! The only cons I have regarding this resort is their beach scent. It wasn’t pleasant. They need to invest a lot into cleaning the seaweed around the beach.

It took over an hour after check-in to get our room and my friend's was over 2 hours. The receptionist was very nice. They did give us a $50 credit but it could only be used with excursions we were not going on. The bartenders were obnoxious or just not friendly. Margaritaville restaurant which is not owned but the resort did not have great food but I think that's a known. There is no food at the hillside pool but we were able to order from a guy that delivered but he wouldn't answer us so we didn't know if we were getting food or not. We called for coffee 3 times starting the night before and then the receptionist hung up on us the next morning. The guy finally came with coffee as we were walking out the door. Almost every time we called for a pick-up, we started walking because no one came and we, of course, were drenched in sweat by the time we go to the lobby. The building are way up a hill and we were in back. The beach was unusable covered in seaweed. Just not a good experience. I would go to St. John from now on!

I did not like the room service. the lady who came to clean the room was not very nice. she would not give us towels because she thought we had to check out on 7/12/24 although I told her check out was on 7/13/24 I don't see why she could not give me some towels even if i had to check out on that day.

Cameron, the bartender in upper pool was GREAT and very friendly and the other staff were good but a few were rude. There is a swamp near front lobby that smells sooo bad and the lower pool smells from the gross water near it. Room appeared to be clean but 2 cockroaches were found in room. Big bug found dead on top of my salad st the restaurant and didn’t even comp meal. Constantly running out of towels at the towel huts. Also had to call daily for clean towels in the room. No vending machines on site. Gym was TINY.

As a person that suffers from back issues this property was not very convenient in terms of getting to and from our room to dining. A lot of walking unless you call the front desk for a lift. Even then it takes forever. Staff was friendly but not too accommodating. If you’re elderly or have a health condition that limits your mobility this is not the place for you. Otherwise it’s okay if you don’t mind the long walk from your room to the lobby, restaurant or cafe.
