Most of the food was good. The room was clean. Positives ended there. We had no hot water. The ceiling and sink in our bathroom leaked. There were people sitting outside our room smoking pot, playing loud music and being loud in general all evening. The beach was full of empty plastic cups and cigarette butts the next morning. Luckily we only stayed here one night. If we had booked a longer stay we would have left the resort and found another place to stay. It was not worth the price.

The beach is what made this stay great. The rooms are clean but needs some serious updating. Not screen for the patio so couldn’t keep the sliding door open cause of the mosquitoes.

Nice beach. Lots of locals smoking dope. Restaurant service is very slow, had to wait for a cup of cofee for 30 min.

beautiful beach. The hotel is run down. No guest services.

The location of this property is great. The beach is gorgeous. It’s pretty clean and safe. Close to the airport. The restaurant food is good; however, they were very busy during our stay and the waiting times were awful. There is a lady working at the restaurant, her name is Eumera, who made up for the rest of the servers. She was kind and sweet, by far she was the nicest person to us during our trip. The hotel needs a lot of updates, but the beach makes up for the rest. We visited other resorts since those were point of departure for excursions, and the beach at Emerald Resort was by far more beautiful than in the expensive resorts.

Walked from the airport and was in the beach within 20 minutes of landing. LOVED the beach :)

The beach is beautiful. Our room couldn’t have been any closer to the ocean. The food at the restaurant was decent with again a beautiful view of the ocean. Restaurant staff was friendly, a bit slow to get food out though. The room - awful. We stayed for 6 nights and was never able to get a warm shower. Complained the first day and they sent a maintenance man - didn’t fix it. Asked to switch rooms, the front desk staff said we could leave our bags with her and we could wait to see if another room opened up but that they’d have to rent our room out - no thanks. So we lived with cold showers the whole trip. There is significant visible water damage throughout the room. We were told by locals that the resort never closed after the hurricane for repairs - it shows. There was a bucket under our sink to collect leaking water which we ended up having to empty ourselves as it was about to overflow. Had an amazing trip but would never stay at this resort again and definitely would not recommend it to anyone. Visit emerald beach for sure but don’t stay at the resort.

The ice machine didn't work . we stayed there a year ago and it didn't work then. The tv didn't work and it was just as expensive as margaritaville resort. Not a good value . We will not stay there again

It was close to the airport. A very dated property, needs extensive updates and renovation.

This hotel was a disappointment. It’s literally walking distance from the airport although you will still likely end up taking a cab. ($14ish tip for two ppl) The beach is long so COVID friendly but the sand is not very soft or white. Planes take off directly above the hotel so it’s noisy. The hotel itself is basic. Not a surprise based on the price. Our toilet stopped working during our stay and the front desk solution was to fill the tank with water through the night until maintenance could come in the morning. Unfortunately the tank would not hold water and we were without a functioning toilet for the entire night. The hotel needs a face lift and is basic and although not first class service the people who work there are friendly. It’s a bargain hotel so know what you’re getting into. If you’re okay with that, it’s perfectly acceptable as it serves its purpose.

No amenities. Said they had toothpaste. None to offer. Ice machine broken. Terrible service at pool bar. Food subpar.

Lovely that it’s next to airport, rocky Sandy beach. Amazing staff.

The Emerald Beach Resort resides in a breathtaking location, and the view of the ocean is absolutely spectacular. The staff and the service are amazing. I have really really enjoyed the experience, and I can’t wait to return soon.

The location is great, it is 10 of 10 you have a beach all for yourself. The service is 3 of 10. The people does not enjoy serving and the facility outside is not clean. Rooms are 9 of 10 very well serve and clean. The food was bad and super expensive. You are better eating outside or looking at $90 bucks for 3 In the hotel. If you are ok not being serve well but having a great clean beach location then this is your place. We came back from St Thomas yesterday 8-14-20 overall I will give it a 4 out of 10

Beautiful secluded beach, white sand, clear very calm water , no seaweed, no rocks on the bottom. Lounge chairs available at any time we needed. Amazing large pool. Property is clean ,beautiful surroundings with lots of gorgeous plants and flowers, staff very nice and accommodating. Very close to airport ( 2 minutes taxi ride) yet no noise from airplanes at night. Room was simple but big enough and had everything needed. Service excellent. Taxi readily available at hotel parking lot. Few very minor minuses: gym on the property so called “Fitness Center” is a joke, it’s tiny and has pretty much only cardio equipment, food was borderline ok and u can’t get water hot enough to shower ( but I do believe it’s common on Caribbean not sure). I have to admit I was very impressed how diligent they were with COVID precautions. That was one of the best parts since our vacation was amid pandemic we felt very comfortable and reasonably safe thanks to the efforts of hotel staff.

Excellent location close to the airport but on a nice beach

This is an old worn out facility, it was probably very nice at one time. Properties this large take a lot of upkeep and they aren’t keeping up unfortunately. The room smelled musty, the toilet was loose, the water pressure was almost non-existent, if the water wasn’t freezing cold it was scalding hot, there was no in between. For this reason and the lack of cleanliness I would not bring children here. The faucet and sink was loose and the fitment was poor. The file shower had some holes in it, and they provided a can of RAID so that you could spray your own bugs. The rugs and furniture were stained. The property is beautiful, it would be nice to see them repair the buildings.

Unfortunately we do not have any record of any other toilet not running and also it wasn't reported to us by any other guests. They are a few flights a day and it last for barely a few seconds and they aren't nightly flights at all. Thank you for staying with us.
