The only problem: If you stay in room number 4 the service trucks will wake you up every day at 7:00 am other than that excellent place.

We stayed at the Waves at Cane Bay for our honeymoon in October and had an absolutely amazing time! Our room was spacious and beautifully decorated, and the view of the ocean from our balcony was absolutely gorgeous. We loved being able to walk to Cane Bay beach every day and visit the beach restaurants. We also had a delicious dinner at AMA which is located at the Waves at Cane Bay. Staff members were friendly and easy to work with, and we enjoyed the quiet and relaxing atmosphere. You will need a rental car to reach the hotel from the airport and to travel to Frederiksted and Christiansted, but there is parking available in a small gravel lot near the hotel. If you would like to save money by cooking some meals, the stovetop kitchenette is easy to use. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and I will definitely recommend staying at the Waves at Cane Bay!

Our stay was wonderful and we loved hearing the waves throughout the day. The hotel manager is courteous and ensures you have everything toi need.

THE HOTEL IS A SHORT WALK TO THE BEACH. IT IS BUILT ON THE SHORE, SO YOU HEAR AND SEE BEAUTIFUL WAVES.

We fell in love from the second our feet crossed the plane of the door. I’ve been to St. Croix many times and there’s no place like The Waves at Cane Bay. Casually chic decor like you’d find in a Miami Art Deco hotel with the most ridiculous views. The room was clearly designed with travelers in mind - lots of outlets, full kitchen with gorgeous plating and utensils, beach towels and a beach bag, an iron and a steamer…we instantly felt at home. And the staff? Super welcoming and helpful. The hotel is in a pretty remote (and beautifully peaceful and quiet) part of the island so all of the tips that Jill provided ahead of time for places to eat and get groceries took the guess work out. I so hope to come back.

The view is amazing but the first night, the water stopped running and the so called manager said if we had a problem, we could leave. Very disappointed of the way she responded to the problem. She eventually gave us a room downstairs that had running water. Overall best part of the hotel was the view.

I loved The Waves at Cane Bay! Small and quaint hotel right on cane bay. You can walk to several bars and restaurants and amazing diving right outside the hotel. I loved the balcony with swing, my favorite place to watch the sunset!! Everyone was super nice, the bars are great and so is the restaurant. I would definitely recommend it, just be mindful if you want a big staff with cleaning every day or someone at front desk, I wouldn’t recommend, but I don’t really care for all that and appreciate the minimal staff and how amazing they were.

Prior to arriving, we were sent an email as king what time would we like to check in, once we arrived there was no one at the frontdesk (we knocked and rang the doorbell). The guy (he refused to give me his name) that works in the kitchen come out the office and said the office girl (Megan) would be ready to check us in at 2pm. We came back at 2pm and still no answer. Eventually Megan decided to come out the office to check us and another waiting couple in. Once we got in the room, we were greeted by roaches, spiders and ants. The room was flithy. The next day we left and went elsewhere.

Well, they call it The Waves for good reason, listening to them if we chose to keep the sliding door open. The sunset was spectacular! We have wonderful photos. Not sure why the owners have painted the entire complex black! Does not fit STX and will make the units hotter in the afternoon...just my thoughts.
