It was dirty and not clean inside & outside. I do a lot of traveling & this is the 2nd worst place I ever stayed in. I was booked for 3 days & I left after 2 days & lost the last nights money, but it was worth it to get out of this place. There is no way this Motel should get 1 star. Place is ready to tear down.
The staff was extremely rude. The room was dirty and so was the pool.

Took 2 hours to check-in at 5pm......didn't get into my room until 7pm.
I will not stay at this hotel again if placed in the Annexed building. The front of the Hotel check/in desk was very modern and clean. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. The check-in process was quick, your room key was ready when you checked in, the breakfast was decent in the morning, however once you left the front desk area it went downhill. We were told to enter thru door 6 at the back of the hotel. This was an annexed building, upon entering the hall way it was dirty the elevator was very dirty and the buttons broken. The carpet in the halls were musty and it did not improve once we were inside the room. The non-smoking room was full of smoke and the carpet was dirty. I opened the windows to air out the room, the front desk sent someone to spray the room which helped but left the carpet moist and damp. The bathroom ceiling tiles were stained and the shower head was stained. Almost all the hotels in the area was booked including this one and they refused to place us in a different room. I was completely exhausted after driving and visiting colleges for about 12 hours and just needed a clean room to rest. I checked out of the hotel at 630am.
Shabby hotel, very disappointing. Poor security in an area that needs it. Smell of urine by back door, litter and weeds in parking lot. Landscaping not maintained. Rusty fixtures, dirt in corners, advertised pool...use 10 per day and not open weekdays. Free wifi very spotty. Definately NOT CLarion quality
Hardly a Waterpark. Kids had fun though. Rooms were filthy.
Older somewhat updated hotel. Good location. Young man from Jamaica was extremely friendly and helpful. He was a pleasure to work with. Other guy at front counter, complete opposite. Didn't acknowledge us while we were waiting, didn't try to help us, very short.
We were unaware you had to pay 10$ a person as a guest of the hotel which was our fault. The outside and back of the hotel really need to be cleaned up there was trash everywhere. The whole lower lobby of our section of the hotel smelled of smoke. The morning of checkout after coming back from breakfast, we were met with the smell of something cooking in the whole end of the hotel and I'm unsure but maybe the owner of the hotel knocking on the doors around us and questioning hotel guests? Not the hotel we were expecting for the price I wouldn't recommend and don't plan to stay again unless they really clean the place up.
Solid, basic hotel at a reasonable price that served the purpose. Did not swim given the throngs of small children.
I stayed at the Clarion over Mother's Day weekend. Please be advised that there is no one to help you with your luggage. We had to put our bags on a cart and bump down the halls to our rooms. The hallways are dark and smell musty. My actual room room was OK and clean, I had a king. I did not eat the breakfast but the people who traveled with me enjoyed it. The restaurant was a bust, I went across the street to eat for less money and better food. I had planned on working out the 2 days that I was there. It took 5 minutes and 2 of us to figure out how to gain access to the gym. Bring your own towel because there are none. I went into the room with the treadmills and someone was walking on one. There was an odd smell that I tried to ignore. When I got on the old treadmill I realized that it was the motor that was smelling up the room. I left and opted to go outside and walk. I had to get my room key re-activated twice as did others from my party who stayed in a different room. When I went to get my key re-activated the lady gave me a speech on how cell phones deactivate the keys (mine was not near my phone but OK) and then just looked at me as if that was the solution I was looking for. I had to ask her again to fix my key (awkward). Overall decent room horrible amenities.
The room smelled really badly of cigarettes; there was a stain on the sheets; and there was rust in the bath tub. Breakfast and staff was great!
The only thing i dont like it that the arcade is closed
Very disappointed. Paid a lot of money to stay here and they charge people to use the pool. Even parents need to pay to get in just to watch their kids! The arcade was very expensive and half the games were out of order. Couldn't take a plate of breakfast food to go. It's like they planned everything to be as inconvenient as they possibly could.
When I booked the hotel I booked it because I have 2 9 year olds that love swimming. On the website it doesn't say or maybe I missed it that you have to pay extra for the waterpark which in my opinion if your a guest at ghe hotel it should be invluded at no additional cost you have to pay even if yoyr not going in the water. Also the arcade was a big disappointment all the machines were broken and they cost a dollar each to play.
The water park and arcade was closed during the week days. Very disappointing for my daughter.
