Southport is tucked away on the southeastern coast of North Carolina offering you the chance to vacation in a small, beautiful, historic fishing community that truly is idyllic. The condo (located across from the Morningstar Marina) provides you a relaxing space that is just a short stroll away from the Southport Historic Yacht Basin and downtown business district. Dining and shopping options are abundant at the Yacht Basin, on Howe and Moore Streets which are all within walking distance. The building provides lots of amenities including your personal carport parking and an elevator.

Come sip your morning coffee and enjoy the spectacular water views from your large, private, covered, 2nd floor veranda/deck that overlooks the intersection of Intracoastal Waterway and the mouth of the Cape Fear River. You can watch various birds and maybe even native gators trolling in the salt marsh. Pelicans, Ibises, Sea Gulls, Purple Martins and an occasional Osprey can be seen as they fly overhead. You can watch the boats and the ships as they transverse the waterways. The water views include Oak Island and Old Baldy Lighthouses, the Historic Southport Salt Marsh Boardwalk, and all the action at Morningstar Marina.

The condo has lots of windows that provide a stunning view of the water from the kitchen/dining and living room areas. Views from the bedrooms lookout on the tops of beautiful, old live oak trees and the main bedroom includes a second private deck ideal for sunbathing and looking out at the Morning Star Marina oak trees, docks, and yacht works.

There are two spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. We provide linens, towels, a fully stocked kitchen and washer and dryer. We welcome guests to instantly book your stay at Pelican Harbor. The condo's downtown Southport location is perfect for your whole family including children (all ages) and dogs. This 2nd floor Harborside condo is in the heart of Southport, NC. It is easily accessible by the elevator and you have a designated covered parking area.. There is a smart lock, allowng quick, easy, no contact property entry..

Southport is very dog friendly with sidewalks all around town. We welcome you to bring your dog(s). We just ask that you let us know you are bringing your pet and how many furry family members are a part of your party. We want to make sure and welcome them too! Sorry we cannot accept cats.

As owners and managers of Pelican Harbor, we are committed to providing every guest a clean, comfortable, relaxing environment. We welcome children of all ages, dogs, and adults. If you need special accommodations, we will work to meet your family's personal needs. If you need additional bedding, blankets, pillows or towels - just let us know!

It is important that you feel safe in order to rest & relax during your time in this Harborside condo. We personally clean the unit ourselves and maintain a thorough cleaning process. Our cleaning process is part of our commitment to you through the rental contract agreement.

We adhere to Vrbo's most lenient cancellation policy, providing full refunds for guests/travelers who cancel before 14 days of arrival. We will adjust/edit your reservations if needed. Yet, If you need to cancel your reservation, we request that you initiate this action through the Vrbo online platform.

The condo features smart TVs throughout (3 total), a comfortable king size bed in the primary (en suite) bedroom with a private bathroom that includes a large accessible step-in shower. There are 2 twin beds in the second bedroom with private access to a bath that has a large whirlpool soaking tub with shower. There are 9" grab bars in both bathing areas and a shower bench if needed. The toilets in both bathrooms are comfort height and an elevated toilet seat is available for those who may need additional height accommodations. All linens/towels are provided. Each bedroom has a large walk-in closet to store all your belongings.

The living room area has a couch, recliner and 2 comfortable chairs providing plenty of seating options. There is a 4-chair dining area with a glass top table and a bar area with 4 barstools.

The kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots, pans, glasses and coffee mugs providing all the essential housewares required for your extended stay. A convection glass top stove/oven provides you the opportunity to cook and bake if you choose to stay in instead of going out to the local restaurants. There are 2 electrical coffee makers (12 cup drip and Keurig single cup), and a french press is available. A toaster, kettle, and microwave are also provided.

Additional features include washer/dryer, WiFi, Cable TV, elevator access, reserved covered 2 car bay and additional parking in the back parking lot. If your family requires additional sleeping arrangements, a queen size deluxe Aerobed with linens is available upon request.
