This was 100 percent worth it as my first all inclusive vacation. It was an amazing property and lots of fun to be had every day. Now, this was NOT the resorts fault obviously, but the seaweed overtook the beach unseasonably and we didn't get to enjoy that portion of the trip. But the fun activities and nightlife made up for it.

This was our first experience at this resort and it was a great one. The location is absolutely perfect especially if you are adventurous enough to explore the town. (And it’s safe) The food was good throughout all areas and it was easy to make reservations. There was entertainment but it was still lacking. That is one area that could use adjustment. The rooms were great, a nice size and comfortable. The coffee did not disappoint either. The crowd was a good mix. I would definitely book this resort again!

Honest review

The room (One-Bedroom Suite Oceanfront - King) was spacious and offered a great view. However, we did encounter ants throughout the kitchen area and around the bathroom sinks. The staff service was consistently good, but the food options were disappointing compared to previous stays. I’ve been visiting since 2013, and with each change in ownership, the overall quality of the resort seems to have declined. We ended up dining at the same restaurant for the last three nights because the other options were subpar. There are far too many cabanas at the pool, which significantly limits the availability of regular lounge chairs. You're either stuck several rows behind the cabanas or forced to rent one to be poolside. It feels like a money grab to cram so many cabanas into every square inch of the pool area. Regrettably, this will be my last visit. For the amount of money spent, I believe I can find a better experience elsewhere.

We loved our stay at Hyatt Vivid. The resort itself is beautifully spacious. You can be involved in the festivities or tuck yourself away. It is centrally located to 5th Avenue and the ferry. We loved being in walking distance to almost everything!! Our room was beautiful and quiet! We didn't try all the restaurants but the ones we did, the food was delicious. The main bar in the lobby was great and the margaritas never disappointed. We're already planning our next trip!!!

Our stay was very nice. The Hilton newly branded Hyatt was fun, safe, and relaxing. The lobby area is beautiful and staff is very friendly and accommodating! The average experience was above in quality and taste, however the Chefs Plate Restaurant is an absolute must and made all the other restaurants look bad in comparison. Felt very safe during this stay, and was happy to see the water was safe to drink (we did not get sick) and the ice was prepackaged from filtration plants. The only main dislikes are that alcohol delivery to rooms is exclusive to beer and wine with a 30-45m wait each time and you are not able to take anything to go in restaurants. No matter what you must consume what you want in the dining area. They require you to order room service which was acceptable but of the lowest quality of all else. Felt that was strange as mostly would eat less if able to order and take directly to room. Hope this review helps you make your decision in vacationing in Cancun.

The Hyatt Vivid is amazing! The location is perfect, the staff is super friendly, and everything is really well maintained. The food options were great and the entertainment was a blast. Only thing I’d suggest is having an app to make restaurant reservations and see which places are open and their hours—that would make it even easier. Other than that, everything was fantastic. Can’t wait to come back!
