Went to a luncheon at the Simsbury Inn that was held in the Laurel Ballroom. The food was terrific, wait staff very attentive. Room was beautifully decorated and organization and flow of over 150 diners went smoothly and efficiently.

I love historic hotels and the Simsbury doesn't disappoint. I enjoy the warm wood and real brass fixtures. Staff was very nice, parking was free and easy. Room service menu is a bit limited. Area around the hotel is lovely.

From the amazing Rohan at the front desk, to all of the other staff we came in contact with, the Simsbury Inn exceeded all of our expectations. Clean rooms with very comfortable beds, high-end linens, excellent complimentary Continental breakfast... fantastic on-site restaurants... we felt very much at home during our 5 nights at the inn. We are confessed "hotel snobs" and were extremely pleased! We can't wait to return.

Really good hotel with comfortable beds and wonderfully absorbent towels. Turn down service with chocolates or cookies. A nice lobby with cozy fireplace. A bed and breakfast feel. Work in Hartford but stay at this hotel in Simsbury - even give up my Marriott points for this gem!

We were very happy with our stay at the Simsbury Inn. At so many hotels you can hear the people talking in the room next door, but there were no such problems here. It was very quiet and peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Everyone was very friendly. Instead of charging $5.00 for a bottle of water as some hotels do, they come around every night with a cart with free bottled water, ice and cookies or chocolate. The restaurants at the hotel were pricey but the food was good. Overall, we had a very pleasant stay and would definitely return if we are in the area again

This was my second time staying at the Simsbury Inn, both times for a wedding at the Riverview. It's very conveniently located, and close to the downtown area of Simsbury. Overall, the rooms are quaint, and clean, but with one major problem this time -- the bed! It was hands down one of the least comfortable mattresses we've ever slept on. Not sure if all of them are like that (I don't remember it being that bad a few years ago when we stayed), but the mattress in our room this weekend was rock hard. It's too bad, because otherwise we really like the hotel.

This is an Inn. It is very lovely. The rooms are clean and have that extra special nice feeling about them. My room was clean. There was a tiny spot of mold in the bathroom on the tile under the soap dish on the tub wall, but I could overlook that. I enjoyed the indoor pool, although I thought the hot tub smelled a bit musty. I ate at Twiggs, that is a restaurant on the 1st floor, It was terrific and the servers were so friendly. I also had dessert, which I never do. When I saw all the other customers around me having desserts, I thought why not have one too. I was very happy that I ate there. I will for sure stay there again.

As other reviews mention, this is not a modern hotel and it doesn't try to be. It's a comfortable, clean, efficient inn with a fantastic staff. The staff are what makes this place shine. The common spaces are welcoming and well appointed. The gym is average but clean and in good working order. Good for small company meetings and leisure travel

My husband and I visited the Simsbury Inn for one night in July. We booked it on a recommendation for a wedding that was nearby. The hotel and surrounding area are lovely. This is not a modern hotel, but it is comfortable, with a cottage-like atmosphere. The hotel is very clean, and the common areas are comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a romantic night away, or if you are in the general area.

I have just finished off a very successful week of business conference at the Simsbury Inn. Despite the heavy snowfall this Inn has not stopped impressing me since I checked in. For the front receptionist to remember my name without hesitation means they are focused on each individual. Nothing has been a challenge to this fantastic team. Stay here its well worth it.
