Average hotel, decent for the price.
Much better than last time I was there
This was an adequate, clean and safe location for an overnight stay. I was happy with the room and the price. My only negative was my room was right by the swimming pool and had some lights working into the room. But all this was minor.
Wish the pool was bigger and cleaner
The staff was wonderful and very nice. We checked in very late at night. The room was as described and clean, except for the entry of room and bathroom floor. They were sticky, but could have been some cleaner residue. Would recommend going elsewhere for breakfast.
Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Newer hotel with nicely insulated walls, so you can’t hear neighbors.
The floors, countertops, toilet and tub could have been cleaned better.
The manager wasn’t pleasant to deal with. They are also ripping off their customers by charging $250 for a security deposit which is more than the cost of the room. A significant amount that they fail to mention until you check in. Also one of the rooms had bugs! We will not be back.
Our room was next the lobby and it was noisy. Breakfast was OK but not very good.
Warned of construction and we did receive a newly remodeled room. Room remodel was great! Room looked beautiful, appliances were new, beds comfortable. Except for some inevitable construction debris, material, and some dirt in halls, I wouldn't have known the renovation was in progress since I never heard any noise. This hotel ended up being sold out due to Eclipse traffic but the staff seemed to take it stride and they handled it!! Very nice and competent staff!!
We do a lot of traveling for my son's basketball team and we are always looking for a nice hotel at a reasonable price. We were pleasantly surprised to find both in the Comfort Inn in Shelby, NC. The room was very clean and was a true representation of the pictures on the website. It is also located near the mall and several restaurants, so that was a plus. We would highly recommend to others, especially fellow travel (AAU) sport parents.
The hotel was really nice. Great location and room accommodations. However, we couldn't shower the next morning because there was no hot water. When I mentioned this inconvenience to the front desk clerk the following morning (upon check out) it was as if it was no big deal. I'm sorry but even a 1/2 star hotel/motel would have the accommodation of hot water. I would have appreciated a little more concern and effort to make this wrong a right. I will say that I was rushing when I left and left a pair of very expensive diamond earrings behind. I called the following day and they had found them and saved them for me! How impressive! Anyone could've pocketed those and lied. They redeemed themselves for no hot water!
Room was a good value, however the room is a little to dark for my taste, more lighting would help! Bathroom and bed were very clean and orderly.

With Covid-19 and the thought that follow, we take every precaution possible including cleanliness and safety. Your comments or feedback is very important to us and I want to share with you that your concerns has been taken care of. As for the size of our outdoor pool, I have shared this with my owners who will give us their input of what they will do, as this is a great suggestion for them to consider in the future.
