The cab driver took me to the wrong hotel, even though I made sure I told him Executive Stay America - Southcenter. It was 1:45 a.m and the office was closed. They were fully booked but the manager let me into the office and made arrangements for another cab to take me to the right hotel. She was so sweet and very helpful. I don't know what I'd have done if she didn't let me in, as I did not have a cell phone. Unfortunately, I didn't get her name, as she deserves a bonus! The only negative is that the Orbitz agent who made my reservation assured me they had 24-hour shuttle service, but they quite running at 9 p.m. That was important to me because my flight arrived at 1:15 a.m.

The worst hotel I ever stayed in. I would stay at an old Howard Johnson's before ever coming bag to this filth.

If you are drunk and forget your room number don't go to the front desk they will just call the cops on you

The room wasn't well maintained. It smelled like smoke when it was non-smoking and the bathroom like urine. There were stains on the bed covers. Asked to be changed to a different room but there were no more until two weeks. I won't stay here again.

The hotel advertises that it has a shuttle but it is subcontracted from another hotel and based on availability. In my 2 days there, I could not get a shuttle to the light rail in the morning to get to work, and I had to call the front desk numerous times to get a pickup in the evening. If you can't get the shuttle, you are out of luck for transportation unless you want to splurge for a cab. The front desk was also poor at answering the phone, in general. My husband had to call 4x after 10:30 pm on a non-busy night before getting thru. Stay at the Ramada across the street or another hotel nearby instead!

For the cost I can't complain. Good location. Needs better housekeeping.

Stayed for 2 nights and nothing extordinary. My room was non-smoking but still has this heavy smell in the room. Turn on A/c and open door to let smell go away. Close to freeway was a plus and also there is Westfield Mall very close by as well as other stores. Getting to surrounding cities was close including South Seattle. Overall hotel was average but better than your cheapest motel.

They charge like a hotel but provide services like a YMCA. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. It took a very long time to get anyone to check us in. Not happy.

My family and I stayed at Ex. St. Am. for a few days. The staff with the exception of one person was horrible. A few things that went badly: 1- They do not have 24 hour front desk because my family and I came back from an event at 11pm and went to the room and the access cards had been deactivated or demagnetized (not sure how both cards can be demagnetized when two separate people had them in separate locations. I am sure they just deactivated them). So we could not get in to the room. I called the front desk from my cell phone and after 10 rings got and answer and when we told the person the issue he hung up on us. I then called from another room (we had 2 rooms) and nobody answered. We went to look for people and nobody was there. After many more calls and attempts a staff member did answer and then brought up another card to open the door. He was apologetic and stated that he was in the laundry room so he was not able to hear the phone ringing. The next day I explained the situation to the morning front desk crew and they acted like I was wrong to be upset about the fact that we were locked out of the room. I was not asking them for anything but they said that the cards get demagnetized often depending on where you store them- Really both of them? I don't think so. 2- There was an issue in the bathroom in one of the rooms with the toilet flushing slowly so we called the front desk and they told us to come and pick up a plunger and do it ourselves since they were too busy to do it. We did pick it up and the person told us to make sure we bring it back and not keep it in our room. 3- You have to pay for the maid service it does not come included with the price. 4- We had maybe 10 channels on the TV-NOT good. 5- The bathroom is small, dark and cavelike. 6- There were hotel guests loitering day and night in the front area. 7- The rooms are a maze. You really need to remember how to get from one area to the other and even the front desk lady that checked us in (2 rooms) said that they were next to each other. Turns out that even rooms are in one location and odd in the other so we were not close to the other room at all! 8- The ceiling on the 1st floor in front of several rooms was coming down and needed repairs. 9- The "breakfast" was just grab and go. One of the days we were there we could not access the "breakfast" area because the staff had locked themselves out so there was a line of people waiting to get coffee. They were not able to get the door open so we left and had breakfast somewhere else. 10-They do not have an exercise/gym area. Now I did like that we had temperature control in each room as well as a kitchen area. Also the location was great since it is really close by to the airport and Southcenter. The price was good per day but not worth it for us. We will not be staying there again and definitely can not recommend it.

The place was great. We had everything we needed to make is feel like home. There was a mall close by wit many places to eat and shop

Just what you need; not much more. Happy with our stay.

We arrived late at night and were checked in just fine. No problems. The room had a kitchen area and shower and the bed was comfortable. I found the drawbacks to be: the room had the old odor of smoke even though it was a non smoking room, the pillow cases had a strange odor, we took them off and it was better, Also, the hoted is next to the freeway so I heard a lot of road noise. But the front desk clerk was friendly and helpful, and the hotel is in the Southcenter Area. My wife loves the mall so this is a big plus. We probably would come again.

We requested a king NON SMOKING ROOM and we were guarantted that. We got there and they only had QUEEN SMOKING ROOMS available. My husband has asthma..There were no other hotel rooms available in the area. He became extemely sick. We are requesting a refund.

Poor value for this price, overstated star rate, for sure it is only worth 2 stars.

I was there for the Rock'n Roll Marathon and the hotel was adequate for the purpose, affordable and very close to the start line. Their staff was friendly.

Hotel needed some updating and repairs throughout. The positive of the experience was that the room we stayed in was clean and the staff (we saw one person at the front desk) was friendly. Location is also nice, very close to I5, I405 and Southcenter Mall. I will not, however, stay here again as it was not as nice as I expected and there are lots to choose from in that area.

was there visiting family..the Homestead suites...was a great place..good staff, clean facilities just what I expected!

We only stayed there for one night so didn't really need anything fancy but I was disappointed with a few things.First- no complimentary breakfast, just coffee. Second- courtesy shuttle hours are from 6am to like 9:30pm. It didn't work with our time table and we had to get a cab.Third- The bathroom *smelled* clean but looked dirty. Kinda like they just sprayed some air freshener cleaning stuff.Overall it wasn't a bad deal. The kitchen in the room was great since we needed a fridge for the baby's milk. I didn't ask if they had porta-cribs available, we brought our own. Also, a thing to note. The guy at the desk said [...]booked us a smoking room when I vividly remember the non-smoking picture at booking. He said it was a very common thing for [...]to do and screwed up their availability. We ended up having to get a room with two double beds instead of a room with one queen which is what we originally wanted.I was also hoping for rooms with indoor entryways but it was more motel style with the rooms being accessed from the outside. I didn't note any elevators but we were lucky enough to get a room on the first floor.

Just needed a cheap place for one night. it fit the bill. there was a small kitchen but I didn't make use of it at all other than the coffee maker. Had to scrub out filter basket, had quite a bit of "buildup"

The rooms were okay and having a kitchen was nice. However, there were no utensals, drinking glasses are cups for coffee even though there was a coffee maker.
