Clarion Hotel Seattle Airport

The only positive is that it is close to the airport. Everything about the hotel, rooms, etc. was truly disappointing.

Chose this hotel because of proximity to airport & medium price range. Was ok but will try a different hotel next time.

It was an okay stay. Staff are pleasant and helpful and the fact that they let us checked in way earlier. The only complaint that I have is the aircondition inside room 156. Very outdated, looks like from my grandmother's aircondition in the 70's... Very, very noisy it bothered my sleep. The coolness that it delivers in the room is not even as well. Also, if you can update the curtain, make it longer rather than halfway the wall.. that way the room will look bigger. The chair by the desk also needs to be fixed, once you sit the legs are kinda loose and I just forgot to report it, someone might fall from sitting so definitely check that out. The welcome folder list also needs to be re-typed/change, the papers are very very old, the paper is changing colors. But the good side is that the towels are clean, we were supplied fresh towels daily. The fact that it is close to the Link and airport, I definitely will recommend. But just update the airconditioner please & the curtain!

The hotel itself is okay. It'll do if all you're looking for is a place to rest and freshen up after sight seeing. The two ladies at the front desk totally brings down the hotel's overall rating though. Rude doesn't even begin to describe their behavior. For being in customer service positions, they acted like they could careless about the guest in front of them. One made no eye contact at all and rushed through the check in process. The other didn't even ask for identification when I notified her that my key was not working. She just grabbed my key and proceeded to say "next guest" as I stood there still processing what just happened. I will never stay at this hotel again! Unsafe, unfriendly, and not worth the money they charge for.

Good clean room. Staff very helpful. Room air condtioner a little noisy. Shuttle to airport was great. He gave me good directions when he dropped me off. Good experience all around!

Customer service could have been better. Front desk person did not smile or greet when checking in and room was warm upon entering. Should have had air on to be comfortable

The cost was too much for the quality of the room. It was an easy walk to the airport. Shuttle was available also. The food was good at the little cafe in the lobby. But the building and the room just felt Dingy.

Reading lite had no bulb and could not connect with Internet

Everything was A-OK. Clean room, clean hotel. Fast shuttle service. Nice people at check in. Great to have food options for meals downstairs when I got stuck overnight. Not the best place to have a dog-no place to walk or potti. Floor 1 yucky because you look out onto concrete wall-stay in 2nd or 3rd.

Front desk not so friendly. No communication about water turned off. Wasn't told about parking pass. Daughters car chained when we went to leave. Not friendly people, day time employees. Night and early morning were.

We got a room with a view of a wall, AC broke and cable service was down for about a day

Hotel needs to be updated. Tiny elevator. Since we had luggage, we could only go up two at a time. Coffee pot and cups in bathroom...yuck! How unsanitary. Problem with room keys working correctly.

While the hotel did have most normal entities, and it was real close to the light rail, there was really nothing else around. The small Bistro had a limited menu, I will say what I ordered came out hot and very good, there were limited others in the area. I am happy with clean but most of my family said it is dated and every floor had ramps - no single level. Would I go there again? Don't know.

Walking distance to the Link Rail System, the Airport, and also to a 7-11 for beer and snacks. Nice lounge and small restaurant on site with a pool, exercise room, and computer room. Everything that you need right there. No car needed. I also noticed a car rental service right next door if you would need it.

The room was not cleaned and smell of recent smoke

Hotel needs major upgrade in all areas especially the rooms

The room was outdated and uninviting. The rugs were damp as the room was on the ground floor, the back of the room being below the parking lot in the rear of the hotel complex.

Room was not very clean - floor look as if it wasn't vacuumed in a week. Bath shower curtain hanging from the wall, smelled musty.

Nice, clean room. Queen bed was small; not a true queen size.

My wife and I were to attend the Billy Joel concert in Seattle and we found this motel to stay afterward. Upon our check in, I asked directions to the stadium for the show. They recommended that we take the light rail because parking is very difficult to find near the stadium. We didn't even think of that and we're very glad that they recommended this. It took a lot of stress out of a wonderful evening. The room was clean. But, the bed left a LOT to be desired. Any movement on it and it rocked like a bad water bed. Neither of us got much sleep. I was hoping that the shower would make up for a bad night's sleep. But, I could not get the water temperature right. I made minor adjustments to the temp, but it was either freezing or scalding. The room was a huge disappointment. We won't stay there again next time we're in Seattle for a show. Check out was easy. They left our bill under the door. So, we didn't have to do anything but leave. And we couldn't get out of there fast enough. Staff was GREAT. The room SUCKED!
