I was scheduled to stay at this fine establishment from Aug 4th -6th 2017! Upon checking in I noticed the hotel was worn but figured its okay because it was close to my destination. Once checked into the room I had to notify the front desk of the foul stench of odor and musk in the room. the front Desk clerk came in and sprayed "Febreeze"! That lasted all of five minutes. My second night I needed linens and was told by the desk clerk that they do not have extras and housekeeping was gone. This was about 1130 pm.... I asked If I could have the linens from the unoccupied room next door? Was also told no because of "potential" reservations up until 2am! Even still the desk clerk did not attempt to follow up even at 2am and there we slept without linens. Upon Checkout..... and the only good thing about this place was "Hannah" the desk clerk was super accommodating for what little she could do. Now this is where its gets interesting!!!! I was told had I booked directly through the hotel I would have gotten an "on the spot refund". However since it was through Priceline the manager "Sarah" would have to do it. Contacted the manager next day and she explained she "could" not issue a refund because it was third party...... notified Priceline and they explained that was incorrect it could be done it just has to be authorized. Called manager back she then says a refund would "Not" Be authorized and Priceline could contact her all they wanted!! My issue is first, I didn't initiate the conversation about any refund this hotel did and then the manager lied and said she couldn't do it when if fact she didn't want too. This was the worst hotel stay in my life!!! and I can promise I will be communicating with the Quality Inn Corporate office and Priceline due to the ridiculous accommodations and treatment of customers. I will not go down quietly.......
I absolutely love this place! The rooms are clean the housekeepers are meticulous and everybody here is so super friendly! The lady that does breakfast most mornings Sonia is amazing I love her to death so sweet so helpful always makes a point to step in and say hello and offer to text you some bread they serve a hot breakfast which is rare around here and very tasteful! Scrambled eggs grits sausage and biscuits and gravy! They also have the normal cereals muffins bagels and stuff like that they also to have the waffle makers but I go every morning and get me a big Ole heaping of the biscuits and gravy and scrambled eggs grits and sausage! Sonia works Thursday through Monday the girl that works on Tuesdays and Wednesdays is not quite as friendly but she's not that bad! I truly am glad I found this place and I will stay here until our business runs out in Savannah!!
Recently stayed at the Quality Inn. From the outside and the lobby it looked like an average hotel. Walked into the room and at first glance it appeared old, but ok. The paint was peeling, AC wasn't working property, and sounds was adjoining rooms could be heard. Before getting into bed I pulled the sheets back just to check if they were clean. they appeared clean, until the next morning when I pulled the sheets back further and found blood stains. Breakfast was typical. The lady who managed the restaurant was very nice and helpful.
After visiting Savannah it was a good place to stop on our travel south. The first room had some problems: the bath door did not latch, the carpet was worn and wrinkled,, but the main problem was that the carpet at the air conditioner was soaked which made the room feel damp and humid. Once we complained at the desk we were immediately changed to another room. The new room was much better although there were two different types of mattresses on the two beds. One was very comfortable but the other was really hard and made for a restless nights sleep.The television was a big flat screen which had a good picture. The breakfast was just a basic one served in the room next to the attached restaurant (Snazzys). The pool area was nice and the whole area was well kept.
We checked into our room and the first thing I noticed was how loud it was with the freeway traffic and noisy a/c. The internet did not work so I called the front desk and was told to wait 1/2 hour and try again. When I decided to go to my car to get something, the room door knob fell off and I could not open the front door. Got the knob put back on and tried the internet again and it still didn't work. We called the front desk we were given the option for another room or to leave and get a refund. We chose the latter and went to Econolodge and got a good night's sleep. Yes, the door knob fell off again as we were leaving our Quality Inn room and we turned it in to the front desk.
Really enjoyed my stay at Quality Inn Richmond Hill also had great restaurant attached to it snazzys cornhole volleyball shuffleboard 8 ft deep pool rooms were very pleasantly nice management staff was excellent everyone was very helpful great breakfast room
Very dirty / out of date / lots of the upstairs is rented out to owners and family very disturbing What a waste of money I can not believe this is a choice hotel / breakfast was old and dried out/ paid 92 .00 a night unbelievable how run down this hotel is ... told front desk and they offered another room and that room was just as bad . Don't waste your time or money
Clean hotel with friendly staff. Restaurant is attached to hotel so it was easy to check in and walk next door for wings and burgers. It is also pet friendly. Could probably use some updating but for a one night, it was a great place to stay.
This Quality Inn is in need of major repairs, Upon checking in the first room we were assigned the cabinet door which held the Fridge was hanging off the hinges, went back to check-in and the next room we were assigned plumbing work was started and not complete, tools were in tub. Returned to check-in again and after about a 20 minute wait we were assigned the original first room we got, they removed the cabinet door completely. The room was clean however, there was no mirror in bathroom, the sink seemed to be on an angle and held by 2 by 4s. The clothes rod was on the bathroom wall and the closet that was to be for clothes had no door or rod.The fridge was hooked up to the rear of the microwave ("weird"). The beds were ok. The staff were good, As I said in the beginning this was not one of the better QUALITY INNS.
Not worth the price! The outside has a good look and potential, but the inside is a disaster! Main door hardly closes, bathroom with running water and paint peeling on the bottom of the bathtub, hair dryer does not work, equipment in the gym not in a good working condition, no ice machine where it's suppose to be, stain in the toilet (not sufficiently cleaned), stains in the carpet, very hard mattresses, etc... will not come back
