Great accommodations! Excellent breakfast, with the exception of the pancakes being too small. Polite staff. Nice pool and exercise equipment. We loved the location and the amenities....PERFECT!

I booked a handicap accessible room, well in advance, at the Best Western Plus in Richmond Hill because I was traveling with my 79 year old handicapped Father. We had driven 8 hours to get to the hotel. After checking in, we went to the room and discovered that the room was not handicap accessible. When I inquired about this with the front desk clerk, she was unhelpful. First she informed me that I did not book a handicapped room, and then she stated that there weren't any available. I promptly showed her the confirmation email from Orbitz with the handicap accessible requirement, and her only response was to ask if we wanted to "check out", without offering any attempt to correct the mistake. She then stated, that she hates "third party bookings". Isn't the hotel prepared for these types of bookings? Doesn't a bulk of their business come from "third party bookings"? We stayed at the hotel for the night anyway because I was not going to try to find another hotel for my exhausted, handicapped father who was unaccustomed to travelling long distances. My Father subsequently struggled with the bathroom and the accommodations. I was really disappointed with the whole situation because after I had booked the hotel through Orbitz, I called the hotel specifically to confirm the room and they said it was confirmed. Overall, the customer service was unaccommodating, as was the room. I did receive a nice email apology from the Best Western, but nothing from Orbitz.

I stay at this hotel 6 or 7 times a year when traveling I-95. The staff does an excellent job of cleaning the rooms, and the beds are very comfortable. I have always found the hotel staff to be very friendly and efficient. There if both gasoline and diesel fuel available nearby, and fast food as well as traditional restaurants. We ate dinner at a restaurant called Local, which is about a mile from the hotel and found it to be very enjoyable.

The young lady who checked us in was super friendly and nice and recommended a great barbecue place down the street couldn't of been better.

Tried the smokin pig bbq 2mins away. 25-30mins away from the River street savannah. Hotel is clean. Greats breakfast.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. My room was very clean. My only complaint is the hot buffet breakfast is not what you think. The omelets were made in advance and the grits are instant packages. Pancakes were rubbery.

I booked last minute for my family based on location and price--we were pleasantly surprised by the accommodations and friendly staff. We didn't get to try the indoor pool or hot tub, but the kids and old folks enjoyed the complementary breakfast and other little touches.

Was not as described. Basic and an okay stop for a night's sleep on the road.

There is no 24 Hour ice cream, you have to go to the 1st floor and buy the ice cream bars or small tubs for $3-$6. The cookies were not 24 hours, they were from a small window for an hour, and tasted stale. The candy that they described awaiting for you in your room were 4 tiny tootsie rolls that tasted old. needless to say my 5 year old was not impressed, and neither were the parents that thought that this would be an exciting trip for her. The pool was over chlorinated, and salted and was only big enough for 4-5 people max.

This was just an overnite stop to break up my driving. I stayed there last year for the same reason, and will continue to do so. Its a great stop over area. If you need to replenish any travel supplies, you can probably find it within a half mile of the motel.

The hotel staff were courteous and helpful. I enjoyed my stay and if I have business in this area in the future, I know where 'll be staying.

A very pleasant property and much better than normal for an Interstate type property. Everything was clean and the staff very friendly.

I think this is our 4th or 5th stay at this particular hotel; it's a good stopping point for our family. Now that it is a few years old (or more), I am especially impressed with the upkeep that the owners have put into keeping the hotel feeling clean & new. The staff is welcoming & friendly. The room size is nice with floor space and true queen size beds, not doubles.

nice place to stay it was clean comfortable i wish it was closer to savannah but overall we were pleased with the accomindations

Close to highway, clean and comfortable room, great breakfast all at a good price

We have stayed here twice on our travels for south Florida to New England. The location is great, easy to get to & near restaurants. The hotel is one of the nicest Best Westerns we have stayed in. There are pitchers of lemonade I the lobby and cookies at sunset. Rooms are very clean& well cared for. We think this place is a winner!

Excellent location and close to many attractions. Staff was nice. Breakfast was very good. Comfortable beds. Thank You for a wonderful time.

Room was clean, nicely decorated and had a new feel. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The only problem we had was the wifi not connecting. Will choose this location when passing through again.

The staff made this experience all that it was, with one very minor exception. They were friendly, helpful, concerned for our comfort. One tiny exception was that they discarded a cup with bottle lids in it that I'd been keeping (we can donate the lids to a charity for $ to help cancer patients). I'd set it behind a gallon jug on the night table, thinking it would be "safe" there, but your room service folks were just too thorough. The location was a bit too far outside the Savannah area to make trips to the city simple, but we only spent one day actually in the city. We might have done more if we'd been closer. On the other hand, it was advantageous in that we didn't have to deal with the city traffic when we wanted to travel south to a friend's home on St. Simon's island. Though I'll say yes - I'd recommend your hotel, it's really a MAYBE. It would depend on how much they wanted to spend time in Savannah.

Though small, the pool was clean and a welcome retreat after a long day on the road. The staff was helpful and courteous. We've stayed here once before and will no doubt stay again next Fall. A nice feature in the lobby is a board with recommendations for dining and entertainment from other guests. Nice touch.
