I didn't have any problem to check in, the receptionist was nice and he showed me how serious they take the Covid-19 wearing a mask, using hands sanitizer, etc. I went to the dinning area looking for spoons and a woman who was seated there asked me in a very rude attitude what I'm looking for?, I answered spoons and she told me very upset "nobody can be in this area". Then, I got my second delivery, pizza and waiting for my boyfriend the pizza got cold. When my boyfriend arrived the same woman stopped us and told me in front my boyfriend "you are no allowed to have visitors and you had already to many, there is a girl in your room right now" THAT WASN'T TRUE. I told her "what are you talking about, want to go with me and check my room? Smiling and very sarcastic told me "no thank you, I don't want to see that room". Then, I went to the dinning room area to use the microwave and I found all the chair making a line to don't people cross that area, but my boyfriend was hungry and I didn't want to let him eat a cold pizza, so I reheat some slices. When I wanted to use the microwave again, it wasn't there anymore. Also when I had made the reservation breakfast WAS included, I just double check again now (Jun 26, 2020), still offered on the website and App the same, "Continental breakfast included". WELL, LET TELL YOU SOMETHING, THAT IS NOT TRUE. When I asked about breakfast the answer was “NO BREAKBAST HERE”. Are these people hate gay people? I’m offended and upset.

Most people may not enjoy that their bathroom and showers are shared but for a few nights to stay it's perfect cause it's in a great location for the Warfield, bars and food!

Communal bathroom! Couldnt tell but dont think there was a shower. Situated immediately next door to a night club, so they have to provide earplugs. The room is fine for one person for one night if sleep is not your priority. Parking is offsite and about two blocks away. We observed a numner of transients paying to stay the night. Staff was nice but no over the top service.

I was told the restroom was in the room. So embarrassed to see shared bathroom. Overall very dissatisfied

Comfortable bed. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Staff was extremely helpful and I'm an Amputee. Stairs were a bit tricky to navigate however they did offer to assist up and down

Spot right on Folsom near Dorey. Great for a few gay events during the year.

What you get is what you paid. Nothing more and nothing less. For the price I paid, I have no complaint.

My friend and I were going to a show at 1015 folsom, this was the perfect place to stay as we could walk to the venue, lots of food options around the street and below the hotel which was convenient. I didnt have a problem with not having a toilet in our room, it was literally two steps away. room was clean, i liked the exposed brick and there was a sink in the room. Didn't have a problem with the club below the hotel, couldnt really hear anything from inside. Perfect and affordable for a night in the city- the only issue was parking. But the free coffee in the morning made up for it :)

Close to SFO downtown offices. Even if its shared restrooms, those are very clean.

The room was very clean and comfortable and the furnishings were very elegant, and the breakfast offerings were of good quality.

Best value in town. Clean, convenient, and perfect location

No parking bathrooms are down the hall showers also down hall

There's a big night club right underneath this hotel and pretty much no matter where you are, it's like you're literally inside of the speakers downstairs in the club. Unless you plan on going to bed at 2:30 when they shut down the music, do not stay here.

The pluses: tidy rooms, sink and mirror included in room, cable TV The minuses: no sink to wash hands in bathroom!!, shared bathrooms (shower and toilet), sometimes extremely noisy at night (night club is next door) to the point where you can feel strong vibrations from the music-- makes it difficult to fall asleep, no nearby parking, no thermostat to control temperature in your room

Nothing beats a weekend in San Francisco but it can get expensive. You can find good deals on hotels in the gentrifying "Soma" (South of Market) neighborhood, although the quality can vary. The Inn at Folsom is family owned, and pride of ownership is obvious in the interior design, cleanliness, and friendliness of the owner-operators. The fitting is modern but not expensive. The property was developed with a keen eye toward aesthetics with extensive use of hand-laid stonework. The only reason I gave it four stars is because restrooms and showers are shared, although I never had to wait to use the facilities. Great neighborhood; it appears to be safe for walking at pretty much any hour, which is good because there's a ton of entertainment within a few blocks, everything from neighborhood bars to mega-clubs with a fantastic music scene. Good diversity in this area; Spanish is spoken here and it is gay-friendly. I found it to be a pleasant walk to museums, the Zen Center, and the Market Street shopping district. Close to BART and the cable car that runs to North Beach. The Inn at Folsom is safe, comfortable, and well-located for a single traveler or a couple looking to enjoy San Francisco nightlife, shopping and culture. It's a great value, with prices similar to the nearby Mission District that is up-and-coming, but not quite "there" yet. I'll definitely return.

Recommended for young people that plan to stay out all night anyway and won't hear the booming nightclub and related street noise downstairs, anyway. It's basic. Think Guest House instead of Hotel. Bathroom is way down the hall. And was only one commode, which could be a problem if a line formed. Price was ok for New Year's Eve... Steep staircase and you carry your own bags... Shower was waaaay down the hall near the commode. I was a winter guest and the room temperature was fine. I didn't see an A/C. So this IS what it IS... Yes, I would recommend it for guests who are content with this level of housing.

It is above the Cat Club, but if you don't know that well... Staff was nice friendly and accommodating shared bathroom fir the floor, but I never had a problem using it. Sink in the room and a comfortable bed!

you have to feel the club until 2:30am to have a quiet room!!!!!!
