Dirty! The bathroom smelled like vomit, dirty tub, dust all over the coffee maker and no where to even plug it in! The A/C unit was so loud it vibrated the whole room. The toilet stopped working and I tried to call the front desk and no one answered. Beds were lumpy. Not happy. But quiet and close to the freeway.
room was ok for the price, remote control did not work for the tv we asked front desk to change it manager said he will replace it and never did so tv did not work at all. in room phone did not have cord plug in to the wall. bathroom was not very clean
One block aways theres a street very nice full of little and pretty good restaurants.
I stayed here last year for Bay 2 Breakers and discovered a great street (Chestnut) right behind the hotel which is just serviceable but I was happy. This year I got a room with a bathroom light that wouldn't turn off. The desk guy said he would have it looked at but I spent three nights with a bright light in the room. One day, as I tried to exit the parking lot (free parking is a big deal) I was blocked in by what turned out to be the desk clerk who asked me to wait 5 minutes so he could finish his lunch! The were spaces available for him to park. Cleaning was not the best either.
I stayed here a total of three nights and the location was perfect. The size of the rooms was great, it had a desk which was also nice since I had to do some work from the road. The most impressive part was the price considering the location. It's walking distance from several bars and it's just minutes from the Golden Gate bridge. The proximity to the bridge made it very easy to visit Napa Valley on our trip. Would definitely stay here again.
The breakfast was nonexistent but nice clean place if you're going to be out all day
average hotel liked it because it had parking. fairly easy to get to. parking alittle tight at times. room was clean got my money worth from my stay. public transportation near by. would stay again.
Fine for one night stay but the toilet didn't flush right. The mattress was old, not too comfortable. The switch for the light had a little green light that flick on and off all the time. So during the night you see that. I had to hide them.
I am not a person willing to spend 300 dollars or more to have a place to sleep. In the Bay Area this is common. The Days Inn is very well situated, the price is great, the rooms are clean and have microwave and fridge. The staff is friendly and helpful. I couldn't hope for more!!
I cringed when I walked into the room, the beds faced the door which was not properly hinged. This did not make me feel very safe. The walls and doors were dirtly as was the old carpet. The refrigerator didnt work which I discovered the day after putting my food in it and the internet was spotty working for five minutes then not working at all. There was noise from neighbors during the night, a party of loud music and voices kept me up till late. When I mentioned the internet, fridge and noise issues the management were rather indifferent as the location provides them their customers I imagine. Breakfast consisted of processed pastrys at reception where you could make tea to go, no sitting area. This was peak season and I didn't have many choices for bookings but I definitely will not return to this Daysinn. There are many more hotels in the area and my advice to travellers is to make advanced bookings, you should find a cleaner, safer hotel.
Perfect location in the Marina district, within walking distance to Crissy Field, Golden Gate bridge, beach, etc. Staff was friendly and gave us plenty of recommendations and help (we're from out of state). Kind of far from the heart of downtown, but great value nonetheless.
Pros: The location is great. Easy to locate and convenient to lots of restaurants and attractions. Parking is complimentary which is awesome but there are limited spaces. So if you do get a space, it would be recommended to keep the vehicle parked and you can easily get around by local transportation or walk. We walked from the hotel to Fishermen Wharf and Pier 39. It is a safe location as we did not encounter any problems even walking late at night. Cons: The room is rather small and dated. The AC unit in our room did not work and we had problems getting the window open to let in some air. The property manager did help get the window open on the second day. You do hear traffic noises as it is right on Lombard St.
room smelled.. Noisy Internet didn't work. Will never go back.
Arrived in SF for Americas Cup which was a short walk from this motel. The motel is a bit cramped; small office, no eating area, small off street parking. Our room was a good size and clean. Overall the motel is very 60s looking with various "fixes" that look non professional. Our room had a barking dog in the next building very close to our exterior wall. It also had a series of blinking lights on all the switches that were very bright and strange. That being said the staff was very nice and based on price and cleanliness I would stay again.
We were comfortable. Because we chose the hotel for economic reasons, it sufficed. Very basic accommodations. Extremely small office, not really fit for more than two persons. All in all what we expected, but not worth $176.00.
Nice location, simple place to stay. Shower is a little hard to figure out how to use.
This little Hotel sits in the middle of a very trendy section of Lombard St close to dinning and shopping stores even an Apple store! The room was very clean as well as the bathroom. There was fresh coffee and orange juice every day in the office which we enjoyed and the location is fantastic. We will come back..
We're traveling in a family of four, on a limited budget. This motel suits our requirements quite well. The hotel manager was very informative, especially on how to get halal food and mosque while in the city. He also gave good tips on how to get around the bridge, wharf, etc.
rooms were clean and nice with good interior, good location but bad variety of breakfast,(only coffee and orange juice)
The hotel is standard quality within a nice location. Rooms are ok, parking is a must thing in SF and wifi is ok. Just lacks a place to have breackfast even when it is not a continental breakfast as they say, would be nice to have at least a chair.
