The paint was peeling on the ceiling. They had patched holes in the bathroom with just tape. The room just felt dirty

Secure facility with the basics, but there were several things that weren’t working. One of the 2 elevators, 2 of the 3 ice makers, the pool was out of commission for hours, and they couldn’t keep enough food in the containers for breakfast. Disappointed. Room was clean.

Really like the indoor pool. Furniture in the rooms could really use an update

not very friendly front desk otherwise everything was fine

It was hot the ac took forever to cool off room and hot in hallways and breakfast buffet only allowed one trip.

The first room I was given had not been serviced since the last guest had checked out. The bed appeared to have been slept in and not changed. There were towels all over the Bathroom floor.

We stayed for two nights. Our kids loved the pool a d the big hot breakfast.

Stay away bed BUGGS and rude Manager! My family came down over the weekend and stayed at the Red Lion. Sunday evening my granddaughter went to go swimming at 2:30pm. After jumping in pool a lady came running out and yelled for to get out that they had just shocked the pool. Her eyes was burning so we took her up to the room to wash her off. The pool is closed from 10 pm until 10am why not shock it then? Early Monday morning my wife was scratching her self so we turned on the lights only to find bud BUGGS on her! The Manager said they couldn’t give us back the money because it was booked with Orbiz??? I have five bags of clothing out in the garage because I’m not about to bring them in the house. This is a nightmare and now my wife will never stay in a Hotel again!

The queen couch was not comfortable. Cushions do not reach the edge of the sofa creating a uncomfortable seating position.

They put me in a room in the middle of all the Remodeling. When I got to the room the key didn't work. Loaded my bags back into the car and went to the desk. Clerk walked all the way across the property (at a snails pace - like she was out for a stroll) to check the key. 10 minutes later she came back and said they'd put me in a different room. The room was fine. A lot of open space like it wasn't completely furnished yet. Check in took over half an hour so that tainted my attitude for everything else as I was beginning to run late for my meetings because the their lack of urgency. It was super inexpensive. So I guess that may be worth the trade off.

Great breakfast in restaurant setting with restaurant setting. Hotel does not accept pets even though says it does on website. Pool was awesome! Front desk staff was not friendly. Air conditioner loud. Shower head broke and sprayed everywhere.

My husband liked how close the hotel was to the river.

My room (417) had bed bugs. There was blood stains on the comforter. Walls were dirty. There was a chunk out of the mirror. The top of the curtain valance was dirty. How could that be? It's up so high. I was scheduled to stay 5 days, but checked out after three when I saw the bed bug. I informed the front desk but all they could say was "we're sorry about that.

This hotel was clean and the room was comfortable. But age was apparent. There were only two plugs available to charge electronics - not nearly enough for today's customers. This could be easily solved and should have been already. The morning breakfast was probably the best we have experienced for this type of service with one major problem. The hotel was slammed with several large groups and did not prepared properly for the breakfast crowd. People had to stand around for an extremely long time for food to be prepared, coffee ran out, etc. The road leading to the hotel was horrible (not there problem) but it does affect the overall rating. The location shown in their ad makes you think you are located right by the river walk - that is not true. One good point is that historic downtown is only a couple of minutes away.

We travel this route twice a year but this was the first time we stayed at this hotel. Great is all I can say, nice area ,friendly staff great room.
