Took a spur of the moment trip to Frankenmuth from Grand Rapids and decided to stay the night, we found this hotel cheapest with a great rating out of all the ones we looked at. The room was clean, the appliances worked, the bed was pretty comfy too. It's just outside of the city center, so if you wanted something close to all the restaurants, the mall, and shopping stores this was about 3 miles one way.
Awful. Had to reserve a room somewhere else because the hotel sold my reserved room to a wedding party and told my wife and I that there was a lot of weddings. I guess that was the reason that they gave my room away and tried to give me the only room that they had left. At least the lady behind the counter told us that she had to check to see if the room was cleaned and there was no cleaning crew on at our time of arrivial. What a nightmare.
My 93 years old mother had to go to Michigan for a family emergency. The hotel was close to the hospitals. The staff went above and beyond to make her comfortable and feel welcome. The breakfasts and dinners that were included during her stay made her meal decisions easy. The food was delicious . Dinner was more than we could eat and the breakfast selections suited our needs. We never got tired of the same old thing. We had guests over for a daytime visit and they could not believe how big our room was and how nice the grounds were. Couldn't belive we were in the city. When we need to come back again we will definitely stay with our Ramada Friends. The room was quiet, clean, comfortable, convenient and more than we expected for the price. Thank you all very much for making our stay during difficult time easier.
Wi Fi reception was deplorable. Seldom could I get online. I think they turned it off in late evening/early morning. If I need Wi Fi, I will find another place.
It's not the greatest hotel ever, but far from the worse. I thought the rooms had a bit more than the bare minimums but it was very clean and taken care of. Free wireless internet is a huge plus, but not the greatest signal in the rooms. The front desk staff was extremely nice and courteous.
I have never had such spacious rooms. Great amenities and the free shuttle to the Dow works so swiftly. Second stay and definitely planning on returning.
The room was very modern and clean. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast had delicious scrambled eggs with many tasty vegetables a part of the mix. The WiFi was easy to get onto. No hesitancy in recommending others to stay here.
Good, for the price it is great, and the restaurant is very good, the sport bar is great!
Curb (un)appeal and inside of the lobby and rooms needs updating.
The address on this hotel stated that it was on Davenport Rd, but the lobby was on the other side of the hotel and I had to walk through a few hallways to get to the front desk. The lobby was beautiful, and I had seen pictures on the website and I was not disappointed with the way the room looked and everything that it had in it. But one of the queen beds broken in the middle and was difficult to sleep on. The door had about a 1/2 inch gap at the bottom of the door and the hallway sounds were more than clear. It didn't help that there was some kind of reunion there and those guests didn't have any problem letting everyone know what they were doing and going. They spoke in normal voices at all times of the day and night, making sleeping very difficult. The breakfast was not very appealing.
Overall, the hotel was very nice, and the people that worked there were great. However, if you are handicapped, it is somewhat lacking. There is an elevator located near the lobby, but the hike to the breakfast and dining area is a long one down narrow hallways. There are absolutely NO handicapped parking spaces (there is one at the bar entrance on the other side of the building), so if the hotel is quite full, good luck.
I was in Saginaw to take a medical board exam. I had to wake up really early to take my exam, and it was noisy until 1 am. When I got in my room, both beds were dirty, including blanked, sheets, and throw pillow. The throw pillow and blanket had stains on them. The bathroom had mold in it above the bathtub, and there were a couple of [*] hairs left on the toilet. Really disliked my stay there. Worst stay in a hotel I have ever had.
We were very pleasantly surprised by how nice a hotel it was. The jetted tub and spaceous room left lots of room for the three of us. The shopping centre was easy to get to as well. The price was very reasonable.
