The entire carpet was damp. The mattress pad wasn’t attached to the mattress. You can hear and feel the springs even just sitting on the mattress. There was not fitted sheet, just a plain sheet which didn’t even cover the mattress. The sheet was stained red. Each bed only provided 3 terrible pillows. The sheet situation was where there are two blankets/quilts on top of a sheet, which makes me question how often these things actually get washed. There were forehead sized dents in the wall. Both nights we were woken up by banging against the wall from the room next door. The shower barely produced water and what it did was freezing cold. The same piece of “art” appeared 3X in the room. No variety. The hair dryer didn’t work. No iron was provided. We had to throw ourselves against the door after swiping our key because the door wouldn’t budge. The cleaning staff was very rude to us when they woke us up in the morning. The cleaning staff only switched out the towels. The “continental breakfast” is two half-empty things of cereal. The front desk staff was behind glass. We never saw the hot tub but fear what diseases lie within it. It was 10 degrees outside and we still considered sleeping in the car because this place was SO nasty. I would not recommend this hotel to any traveler but I would recommend it for a health inspection.

This was actually the 2nd time I stayed here. The 1st time I stayed there a younger guy was working in the office and enjoyed my stay so booked a room there again. This time the older guy was working in the office. I was staying there with my 2 children. When I checked out the room everything was fine until I said I wasn't staying there with a man, that it was just me and my children. Then he started talking to me like I was a bad person or something, saying multiple times that it was a nice motel and that they didn't want any trouble and I couldn't have any visitors which I didn't plan on anyways. I'm guessing it has something to do with him being an Arab and their beliefs that women are inferior and shouldn't be without a man. Then when I was bringing stuff in the room, he actually told me that I had brought enough stuff in and didn't need to bring in anything else (all I had to bring in so far was my purse and my baby's diaper bag). I couldn't even bring in our clothes for the night. Me and my kids come to Saginaw every weekend to visit family and would've been a weekly guest but now I will never book a room here again. It's really there loss as I'm a perfect customer as we always stay 2 nights, are gone during the days only coming to the room to sleep, clean the room spotless before we leave, and still leave a tip for housekeeping. Needless to say after how I was treated, I didn't clean at all and did not leave a tip. Because of his petty attitude, he lost out on a good and regular customer.

When we booked on Expedia I booked for 2adult & 17 year old. Entered room w king bed/dirty sofa sleeper that didn't pull out because it was behind a heater. Office wouldn't give us bedding to sleep on top of couch because they said we only booked for 2 adults, but we COULD pay $22 to get beds for 3 people. There were cobwebs in bathroom, stain on bathroom wall that looked like blood, filthy coffee pot and blow dryer (see pics). Heater hung crooked from wall. Wifi was locked and we weren't given the code, so 17 year old mad they couldn't do their schoolwork. Pay a little more and stay somewhere you feel safe-parking lot lights were all off. Glad husband was with me or I wouldn't have felt very safe. Noisy from outside all night.

Good news is that the room was fairly clean and no offensive odors. But very old and worn. Felt like a motel from the 50's-60's. We needed a last minute room and this was adequate for the night. The price was very inexpensive. Breakfast was a bag of bagels and juice in the tiny office. Chose breakfast at Panera instead.

I really enjoy this place it's a family ran motel the family is very nice they always make me feel welcome when I'm here. Me and my husband have been doing alot of remodeling to our home these past few months and this is where, I choice to come to so I can relax while hubby is working on our house. It's very quiet and anytime, I need anything its never a hassle someone is always more than happy to help me or bring me what I need. It's nice seeing family work so close together and actually enjoy what they are doing for others.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone..the service is non existent and when u go to office to complain the Indian Guy yells at u and talks like u are stupid.....the only thing I liked about the room was the TV and I used my own pillows and blankets....

I would not recommend this motel as I stayed there 3 days and they did not clean the room or bring fresh towels, linen or even empty the trash can. We had to go to the front desk and complain before they gave us new towels, toilet paper and coffee. The room is old and smells and the bed had several broken springs covered over with plastic. The breakfast room (our stay) was a joke with no condiments (sugar, milk, bowls, spoons) available for what I suspect was very old cereal. I must give them credit for the new television. Cost to stay is low but better to stay at Knights Inn or Super 8 for the same or lower price. Very depressing stay - the savings in money was not worth the experience.

Whenever I use to come to Saginaw I stayed at northgate( best value inn) as it was know back then. It was a nice little motel back then and they kept it clean and updated. But when I went there this time it was not what I remember it to be. The rooms had a bad smell, stains, and outdated. The beds were caved in and dirty. It looks like somebody else runs the motel now, and is not taking care of it. They tried charging me $80 which is over priced. You are better off staying at some other motel. Try avoiding this motel, I rather sleep in my car next time.

I booked 2 rooms online, showed up to get in the rooms. The Middle Eastern man behind the desk told us we had no rooms, even though I produced the confirmation number. He was nasty about it. We hats to insist we have rooms. Finally as he was going through his reservations, we found oue rooms. Upon finally getting in the rooms we felt the room: They were old, unclean the phone and internet service didn't work. Not recommended.

Certainly too expensive what you get. From the outside it is a true motel. The rooms are somewhat upgraded. But the bed and pillow would not qualify for a good sleeping experience. And they were wrapped in plastic.
