Had posted negative review earlier but have stayed here again since then. Problems were taken care of and was contacted by the manager! That's a first!!! They really do care about the property, service and customer care! I highly recommend staying here over the Hampton Inn next door!! That place is nasty!!!!
Had a really good stay here in Center Texas. It was very comforting away from home. The front desk clerk Daniell was great she helped us with directions and she had coffee out for us early in the mornings.
This hotel was great. It was the comfort, great room with comfortable bed and best pillows anywhere! Friendly staff. I will stay here again a full breakfast in the. Holiday Inn Express Center Texas....
I have stayed in this hotel on six occassions while working in the Center area. The staff is always friendly, helpful and provide excellent service. The hotel has a nice breakfast which includes a variety of cereal, yogurt, juice, coffee and hot items including eggs, bacon, sausage and hotcakes. My room has always been very clean and the hotel has a small swimming pool which provided lots of entertainment for my 6 year old grandson. I highly recommend this hotel.
We recently stayed at the Holiday Inn Express with a team of baseball players. The staff is excellent and they all deserve 5 stars!! The Manager was absolutely amazing and easy to work with. She and her staff went above and beyond to make all of our team and their families feel welcome. They were quick to accommodate our needs, even helped wash uniforms one night. I highly recommend this as a place to stay.
I stay here due to my job in oilfield. The staff here really takes care of us. Works around our schedule. They even offer a managers reception. We truly enjoy that. We will continue to stay here for all of our jobs. Thank you for taking care of us. See you soon.
My family and I travel alot. We enjoyed our stay here!by far one of our favorite hotels to stay at. Greeted with wonderful personal at desk and breakfast. We were definitely taken care of. Don't knock this place until you try it yourself. Wonderful hotel and staff. We will be back very soon.
First off let me make this very clear we did not stay here this time! We have stayed here in the past and had OK service but this time the lady who answered our call for a reservation was so rude and uninformed it was truly unbelievable! I called to make a reservation and because my husband is a Navy Veteran and has been out of the service for the past 17 years I asked about the Veterans discount. The lady said yes but you have to provide a government I.d. that says you are employed by the U.S. government. Thinking I misunderstood her or misspoke I said again do you mean like a driver's license and she said no he had to have a Government I.D. that says that he works for the government. So I said he is a veteran he has his honorable discharge papers and his DD214 we can bring that but he is a veteran he didn't get issued a I.D. card saying that he was in the !military. She gets all huffy and ride and says "I UNDERSTAND he is a veteran but those are just papers they issued him a ID when he got out and blah blah blah!!!" So I hung up on her! Like I said I don't know who she was but the military does not issue IDs to veterans! Obviously this hotel does not respect or care about those who have served and fought for our country to have such ignorant people working for them!
My family and I rushed into town because my grandma passed away. Because my husband and I had to bring our dog the first night and the last night, we stayed at the Holiday Inn. The lady that helped us was extremely helpful and accommodating due to our emotional stress and unfamiliarity with the area (I cannot remember her name, but she was working on January 27). We stayed at the Holiday Inn for one night because my husband had to go back to work and took our dog back. I stayed in the Hampton with my family so we could be together during such a difficult time. My husband was driving back for the funeral and had to bring our dog again. On the day of my meme's funeral (January 31), the lady working at Holiday Inn was so incredibly rude in saying that we were not going to be allowed to check-in until 3 PM (the time of the funeral). Okay, I understand that rooms need to be cleaned and they go through certain procedures, but they had accommodated us previously. I had also been monitoring the parking lot for days, because we were staying across the street, and the hotel was not booked (there had to be at least ONE room available). However, she refused to even attempt to help us out. She was not only extremely rude to my husband and myself, but to my parents as well (who were paying the bill, might I add). While we were explaining our uncontrollable situation, she even had the nerve to tell us, with an attitude, that it wasn't her problem and went as far as refusing to look at me. I walked out in tears, not knowing what to do because my grandma was going to be buried that day and we had nowhere to go. A call to the corporate office didn't help, either. They were just as rude and they even hung up on me! After a lot of anxiety and frustration over the situation, the Hampton across the street assured me that it would all work out. Their staff made some calls and allowed us to keep our dog and stay at the Hampton. They were so understanding that my entire family was upset at the loss of our family member, we were far from home, and we didn't have anywhere to turn. The Hampton exemplified what it means to be in a customer service oriented business; I can't say the same about the Holiday Inn. The rooms were nice and, again, our first night's stay went relatively well; however, my parents and my husband and I are all just extremely disappointed at how disrespectful "customer service" was! I have stayed at Holiday Inns before and was impressed, but I promise I will NEVER step foot in one again, thanks to your inconsiderate and condescending employees.
We booked a one night stay for a wedding at the civic center across the street. Check-in was easy and efficient. When we got to our on the first floor, we both thought the room smelled dirty, somewhat like a wet dog! When I told the front desk clerk and asked for housekeeping she just looked at me with no response! She then showed up at our room with room spray and sprayed the entire room. She was rather curt to begin with and told us there had not been a dog in the room...I never said there was, just smelled like it!!! The clerk did tell us the entire hotel is "pet friendly" however pets are not allowed in all rooms. The rest of the hotel was very clean and nice. The breakfast buffet was very good, a lot of choices in a clean, bright, cheerful room. Fresh fruit was a real treat, along with yogurt, hot pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage and hot cinnamon rolls and more. It was raining during our stay but I did check out the outdoor swimming pool area and it was very nice. Check-out was easy and the clerk was pleasant.
