On the road south, and picked up a coupon book. For $100 it was a value if you needed to have breakfast, lunch or dinner there, but more amenities than we needed for the evening. There was a full kitchen. Rooms only have queen size beds that are comfortable. It's off 75 but the road the Inn is on is pretty busy, even At night. The bathroom Was a little tired looking. Breakfast was fine, with a good selection. Staff is friendly and helpful, especially when I locked my room key in the room!
Have stayed at this location many times over many years without an issue. It is quiet ,clean, and conveniently located off of RT. 95. It is surrounded by restaurants and shopping . A walk in medical office and hospital are nearby for a unexpected need. Staff is friendly and helpful. Included breakfast is good. Handicap rooms are spacious and safe .
Wonderful bed, best sleep in a hotel/motel in years. Very friendly staff, most helpful. Located near an Outback Steakhouse for meals. Breakfast was standard fare but well prepared and above all warm. The reason for not giving the fifth star was that here was no clock in our room or the sitting room. When you get up at night it is nice to know what time it is.
I set up and received a confirmed room reservation through Hotels.Com. My wife and I drove over 7 hours from New York and upon arrival at 12:30 AM we were informed that the hotel was sold out and they wouldn't honor our confirmed reservation. They basically wanted nothing to do with us an told us to take it up with Hotels.Com. We then had to demand that they do something to accommodate, and after insisting, they called the Hilton Doubletree Hotel down the street who welcomed us with open arms. I believe this to be very poor service provided by the evening front desk manager. The Lobby appeared to be poorly maintained and not up to Marriott standards that I have been accustomed to. Needless to say as a Marriott rewards member, I'm surprised. Although I did not stay there overnight, the experience I encountered with the front desk and the fact that they didn't honor a confirmed reservation without contacting us left us without a room and very disappointed. Hilton to the rescue - Nice place clean rooms attentive staff and comfortable beds. Wish I could say the same about Marriott! :(
We stayed here the night of September 9th while evacuating from Hurricane Irma. I booked online while on the road and the price for the one bedroom was $169. I found this hotel searching for pet friendly hotels, since we had our dog with us. I received a confirmation email stating that the total for the stay including taxes and fees would be $188.86. We arrived late after a long day of driving and signed the forms including a pet form which mentioned a pet "cleaning" fee. I assumed this would be incurred if your pet made a mess. Upon checking out, our bill was $234. Apparently just having a pet with you incurs the "cleaning" fee. My pet did not make a mess. I feel that if there is a pet fee it should be clearly stated on the website when you book your room. Additionally, the sofa had all kinds of stains on it and pulled out into an extremely uncomfortable bed, which is what my daughter had to sleep on. Not the best welcome for some tired evacuees.
Handicap accessible suite was comfortable and quiet. Several Areas to walk dogs were right next to the hotel. Breakfast was fresh with many choices including fruit, bagels, sausage, eggs and hashbrowns. I have no complaints
We are "Marriott people' and choose a Marriott wherever we go - if at all possible. We were a bit disappointed at this Residence Inn as we've come to expect more. The staff here is very nice and professional, and the Residence Inn is next to a Courtyard so we had the option of getting dinner at a Bistro - which was why I selected this Residence Inn. However, this hotel is overdue for a refurbish and it is next to a very noisy road so it was hard to get a good night's sleep. Also the breakfast was mediocre. I don't normally criticize like this but we've been seeing excellent accommodations at Marriott over the past few years and the brand seems better than ever at all levels (Springhill Suites, Couryyard, Fairfield Inn and Suites, Residence Inn, Hotel and Spa). So, my negatives are a plea to try harder!)
Stayed here for one night for business. Room was nice and bed was comfortable; (pretty standard for a Residence Inn); has a refrigerator, microwave, work desk, etc. Good location as there are plenty of places to eat near the hotel, like Outback, Cracker Barrel, a Diner, and more. When I came back from dinner, there was an Ice Cream Bar set up where you can make your own sundae. Breakfast bar in the morning was also very good; lots to choose from (hot and cold); something for everyone. My only issue was that the internet was down for the duration of my stay.
The staff at this hotel were top notch. We randomly stopped here on our way to Florida. The pool was nice. The convenience store was open when we got in at 945. The breakfast was very well.done, cleaned, staff friendly and helpful. The oatmeal bar was unexpectedly good. We'd stay here again for sure.
Staff was very professional and exceptionally helpful. Was in NC to work to provide diasaster assistance with business needs of meeting rooms and business center that were accommodated. Outstanding and friendly service by all; Miss Linda made stay very pleasant and worry-free.
