Hotel smelled like smoke everywhere. Mold on bathroom ceiling, carpet looked dirty.

I liked everything friendly staff no complants nice clean big rooms reasonable prices

Stay was interrupted by staff having to come into room to check for “ a leak”.

There was a sign on the front counter that showed a $10 charge per person extra in your room and a $50 charge if you did not notify them about an extra person. I asked what the extra charge would be for and the man said breakfast. The breakfast was horrible. Frozen waffles sitting in a bread box with the toast. Limited choices for food choices. They also had children of their own there the following morning that were so loud you could hear them through the walls and door to your room. This Super 8 was by far the most run down out dated Super 8 I have ever stayed at. I usually love Super 8, but not this one.

Beds were small pilliows were flat not fluffy. The bathroom had roaches after 7pm we killed about 25. Took 30 mins to checkin he could not find my reservation then wanted a security deposit of $50 on top of the $62 fee. We settled with $38 security deposit which we got back at checkout.

Walked in with the owner's wife or daughter on the phone arguing with Orbitz. Loud and not very professional for one and in front of me, instead of going away from counter, again not professional. I was there on to visit ailing father in the hospital and wanted no drama! Room was dirty (had to clean bathroom floor before I unpacked). Didn't say anything because I had getting to the hospital on my mind. After my first night staying my father had to be changed to another hospital due to his worsened situation. I called the hotel when I found out I would be relocating, they said to call Orbitz, they had no control over anything because I paid Orbitz not them. (I was not there guest, I was guest of Orbitz). Orbitz said they would call the hotel and if the hotel gave a verbal they would refund me of my unused days. The hotel,speaking with the owner, said it was not true and threaten "to show me" how Orbitz would lie. No time for this, I told them I would be happy if they charged me for an extra day even, but I thought it was fair for a refund. Orbitz called them again and they just went round and round and then the owner would not answer the phone , because he new it was Orbitz calling. Nonetheless, I would have normally fought harder for myself but I just wanted to focus on my family situation that was my reason for being there. Nonetheless, Ownership was shady and unprofessional, not forthcoming and you could just tell they new all the angles and used them many time before!

I first drove to Daleville/Roanoke Super 8 where I had stayed before & believed to have registered online with Daleville/Roanoke Super 8, not this place. When I arrived to Daleville/Roanoke Super 8 early in the a.m. I was told I had not been registered as I thought I had done but, after checking my email confirmation (something I was not able to do while driving), learned I had somehow, when I entered my exact search criteria for Daleville/Roanoke Super 8 I into Orbitz website I had unwittingly been redirected to Roanoke Airport Super 8. I mistakenly registered at this Super 8, a hotel I would NEVER patronize EVER. I arrived in the early morning after driving alone, non-stop, from Philadelphia. Rude, unsympathetic deck clerk, beside the fact that the facility is filthy & just unacceptable compared to anywhere I would ever spend a night. I checked in & checked out when I saw the room. Didn't sleep. Pulled over on the side of the road & took a nap for 2 hours between 5 a.m. & 7 a.m. I would appreciate a refund. Thank you

It is a decent hotel, but there was some bad smell as soon as I opened the door.

Had to walk through smoking area to get to non smoking room. Breakfast was eggo waffles in a toaster or cold cereal. Very limited. For same price you can get better quality.

Not bad, but old and worn. Strong smell of deodorizer, I had to open the window to get some fresh air, it was overwhelming.

Room was dirty! There was frozen ground beef in the freezer. A weird smell is present throughout the hotel. Room 114

You get what you pay for!Never again will I cheap out.

I understand that it would need quite an investment to upgrade all the hardware in each room, such as bathtub or tiles. But it's really basic to let the guests have clean and new bed sheets or bath towels without stain. Our bed sheet was wrinkly. Not sure if it didn't get changed or just didn't get ironed. There was hair in between the blanket from previous guests. It seems like they can't even do the basic room cleaning and housekeeping well.

Nice hotel, room was clean and comfortable. The staff was friendly.

I stayed one night and was perfectly fine. The hotel could use some cosmetic updates specifically the molding around the AC unit in the room. The large TV was nice, bed was comfortable and staff very friendly. The staff's appearance could be tidier, it appeared they dressed hastily and perhaps had not showered recently. That being said I was delighted at the friendly, welcoming and helpful demeanor. With some minor updates this hotel could be better but overall my stay was just fine.

Overall my experience was very good at this hotel.

The room is nasty, the front desk clerk at night is not friendly..The Police drive through the parking lot like every hour. Ive stayed at better Super 8's.
