Beautiful property. Great location where your can walk over a glass pedestrian bridge over working train tracks and get to charming downtown Roanoke. Nice restaurant and craft beer scene and fun shopping. Our room had a great view of a beautiful church up on the hill. The only bad things included having to let 4 elevators go by, due to Covid occupancy restrictions, before taking our luggage down the stairs. Obviously, that's not unique to this property, and we were leaving g right at checkout time. Luckily, we were staying on the second floor. Also didn't appreciate having to pay $11 for overnight parking. Parking costs at hotels with plenty of parking are bullshit. Parking was a decent walk away, though an easy walk after dropping off your luggage. There was one mosquito in the room. Luckily, it was cold enough in the room that the mosquito didn’t move.

I was a Hilton number and I could not get an upgrade and the people beside me did. The girl had to drag our luggage through the lobby without realizing that there were ramps to the executive level. It took us absolutely forever to get a drink in the pine room befor dinner And the staff was just not attentive at bar. The staff at the breakfast was wonderful. But we were asked repeatedly if we had coupons and I suspect probably we should’ve been given some

It was a bit of a hike to self parking. Staff was very gracious.

I was disappointed they gave away my prepaid room. We have to move from one groom to the next. They did comp us free breakfast for the inconvenience which was sweet.

Gorgeous and classic property with attentive and pleasant staff.

Screaming drunken banshees clanging and yelling into the night (2am) really put a damper on the experience of this hotel. Couple that with subpar cleaning; think a sticky ice bucket, a toilet that was so poorly installed that it rocked back and forth so violently I nearly fell off. I wouldn’t recommend this place for fellow female travelers. The parking lot is barely lit, and when I checked in, the male staff loudly announced where my room was. Not a four star experience by any means. I’ll find another hotel next time.

The pool is wonderful. The hotel itself is lovely. The pool bar should be open later.

It's a beautiful hotel, very rich in history and the staff was so lovely.

Beautiful and close to the old city where all the restaurants are even though the hotel restaurant far exceeded the locals

Attentive, hospitable staff; beautiful well-kept property.

Very classy hotel and the staff was excellent. Stayed here for New Years.

Dear traveler, we apologize for the issues experienced. When not booking directly through Hilton, unfortunately we are bounded by the third party booking reservation, and not always able to upgrade or provide breakfast certificates due to the nature of the booking. We will review your experience with our team and be sure to better communicate policies and restrictions with our team as well as ensuring we are providing the best service possible at each turn of our operation and hospitality. We appreciate you sharing your visit with us and we hope to serve you again in the future and deliver a better experience overall. Sincerely, Brian Wells General Manager
