The hotel front desk staff was kind an check in was simple and quick. The building itself is older and has been painted inside with dark muted blue tones which makes it seem dirty. The breakfast staff was one person and she seemed very overwhelmed and had difficulty keeping the food items stocked. The breakfast area is small with lots of tables which makes it difficult to move around without interrupting other guest. The lobby area seemed mainly unused and could possibly house some of the crammed breakfast seating. As for our room, located on the second floor, it was clean but did show signs of wear and previous damage to the bathroom sink, with a poor repair job. The beds were comfortable.

The blackout curtains were not covering the sides and it was full daylight peeking around by 7am. Had to go to Target and use blue painters tape to block it out. Was only able to sleep after doing so. The bed was extremely comfortable with super soft pillows. Breakfast was decent, however, the older lady who was managing breakfast was very rude and had an attitude any time she was approached for anything. The pool was perfect temp. The hot tub was ok; not much pressure or jets, wasnt more than a bath. But it was a good weekend! It is within range of many restaurants and things to do.
