The 197 (?) bus from the airport stops at the Riksmuseum, which is about 2 blocks away. Food and beverages were reasonably priced, and the room was nice. Only complaints were that I didn't find a way to get in without hauling luggage up 6 steps, and the air conditioning didn't work, even though the ...

We had a hard time finding a room for a family of five, but the Hampton in Amsterdam was one of the few hotels that offered a large room with two queen beds and a sofa bed. The room was very clean with a nice view of the courtyard at the front of the hotel. The bathroom was a standard size but it was very bright and the water pressure for the shower was perfect. The free buffet style breakfast included eggs, sausage, bacon, made to order waffles, breads, cheeses, cold cuts, fruit and pastries. Coffee, milk and juice is also included. The large comfortable area for eating breakfast is very busy in the morning. In the room you find a small safe, hair dryer, iron and ironing board and a flat screen TV with many international channels.
The hotel was very clean, the rooms very comfortable, very easy to move to every where. Trein station in front and metro out side to the left.
New and a little bit strange bath arrangement what will only work for intimate couples as it is mostly "open". Still, very high marks overall, ... for traveling alone it is perfect for almost all persons.
Room was big and spacious, nice bathroom. Staff was very friendly. Complimentary breakfast was awesome, dont pass it up! You have to check your key with the desk every time you go out but posed no inconvenience for me. Would stay at again.
