Nice property with nice rooms with mini kitchens. Much development going on in the area. Centrally located a short walk to the pedestrian plaza and the beach.

Second time at this hotel and it never disappoints. All the staff are exceptionally courteous and professional. The rooms and common areas are impeccably clean. If you don't feel like going out your room comes equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and stove burners with fume hoods. It's a great place if you want to rest, relax and recharge from normal life. Grateful that this hotel and it's staff add to the Playa del Carmen charm! Thank you. Denis D.

We couldn't watch TV for 2 days and nobody knew why after 2 days they found out that someone forgot to pay the bill

The only pro was the closness to the beach. There’s no such a thing about feeling welcomed when checking in, Rafael the man at the front desk at night is not a very pleasant or friendly receptionist, I said hello to him and he held his hand to “shush” me because he was busy. Instead of kindly acknowledge me and request to hold of a moment in a professional manner. He charged me 300 pesos for an extra night for a guest when in the website it clearly says 11.00 cad . The service was below average, he was rude. The beds were ok. Cleaning staff did an incredible job taking care of our room, we were beyond happy leaving a gratuity for her. The front desk was often left unattended. There are so many hotel gems out there that cost less and the service is marvellous. Will definitely not be returning to this place again. I often come to Playa del Carmen and wanted to try something different, this place was definitely the one with the worst guest experience

This place is at the bottom of its price range, and very walkable. Mauricio at the desk is attentive and warm. Rooftop pool area is reasonable. Those are the positives. There are deficiencies with everything else.

We met the owner of the property. Very nice gentleman. We had an issue with our room and it was corrected immediately. The rooftop pool area was beautiful. Close to 5th Ave which I absolutely love.

You get what you pay for. Customer service at the reception is not the best. Raphael is rude as well as the lady. During my 6 day stay, I witnessed several encounters with upset customers. My reservation was for a suite with two rooms and without previous notice at check in they handed me the key for a room with two beds. When I told him about the confusion, his answer was to call Expedia although my reservation was very specific. After a while he gave me the key of a two room suite. The suite was very hot and humid specially at night. Close to restaurants and bars

Excellent location good customer service. Big room with two queen beds and sofa. Kitchen with stove, microwave, coffee maker. A lot of space to store luggage and hang your clothes. Wi-Fi fast enough. Beach about 7 min walk. Will come back again.

This place wasn’t the best. There was a sewage smell coming from the sink, and the freezer never worked from day one—no one fixed it until the fifth day, just as we were leaving. The internet was also very unreliable, so don’t count on it. On the positive side, the cleaning staff was friendly, and the top floor near the pool offered a nice view. It’s within walking distance of the beach, 5th Avenue, and several restaurants. However, the roads leading to the property feel a bit rundown. It’s an okay place for adults, but not the best choice for families.

Convenient location, comfortable swimming pool area on the roof, house keeping does good job cleaning the room daily. Beautiful lobby, but rooms need renovation and deep cleaning. Front desk staff is friendly, but needs more training/standards to explain about the property and services. Overall good value for the money.

No coffee in the rooms. We had to take the elevator down four floors every morning to the lobby for a coffee urn that was often empty. One time we were chastised for using too large of coffee mugs! We experienced no running water for two days in total and power outages. We usually were treated with indifference and apathy by the Raphael when we approached him with issues. The kitchenettes were very poorly provisioned with utensils, dishes and cookware. The rooms were nice, the cleaners and others at the front desk were pleasant and the top deck pool was awesome!
