I stayed one night at this hotel, check in went fine. Room was damp and smelled strongly of mildew I decided to just live with it as it was only one night. Fire alarm went off 3 separate times in the middle of the night leaving us standing in the parking lot at 1:00am. staff initially said it was a false alarm then later we were told to leave and sit in parking lot. fire department went room to room found no emergencies and said a broken fire alarm system. so management shut off the fire emergency system for the hotel and sent everyone back in the building for the rest of the night, I heard management talking to the fire department about this first hand. what if there had been a real emergency at that hotel with people now in the hotel with a broken and silenced fire emergency system? I thought that was a pretty poor decision on their part in my opinion. Went to check out the next day and the elevator had an out of order sign on it making me really wonder about the general condition of the building. I asked the manager at the front desk for a refund but she said they weren't responsible for things like that. She then told me to contact orbitz. I emailed orbitz and explained what happened. orbitz then called the hotel the next day hotel told them to call back the next day when a manager was there, orbitz never called back and then told me I need to call orbitz instead of emailing, I called and sat on hold then hung up. I am finding orbitz is not easy to work a refund through

Pool was rather small. breakfast was fair the room was very clean I would stay again.

The staff was great! showed me 2 rooms to determine best shower set up for mobility concerns of my mother before checking in. Same gal also printed maps home (to interstate) for us before leaving. Nice variety of food for breakfast and good hours for it. Only disappointment was no whirlpool.

This was a great place to stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. We forgot toothpaste and a razor and it was no problem to get these items. Our room was clean, the bed was very comfortable with lots of pillows, and there was a nice fluffy chair to sit in while watching TV. The breakfast was tasty - eggs, sausage, pancakes, and all the usual breakfast fare. Free newspapers were also available. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Would definitely stay again!! Great breakfast....staff was also good.

I needed a place to stay for attending a conference in the convention center (downtown Pittsburgh). The cost of places near the convention center forced me to look outside. For $130 a night, this place was about $100 less than what I would have paid near the convention center. The easy access to the interstate was a plus. The place is reasonably clean and comfortable. The complementary breakfast was forgettable and I avoided it completely. Other than that, I had a fairly good experience.

Well trained staff. Clean and well equipped. Bereakfast was good and well presented. Location very convenient for our trip.

The hotel was in a very good location to get to a memorial service. We were not very well received at the registration desk-clerk acted as though we had interrupted him from something far more important than checking us into room. He did not volunteer any information about the continental breakfast or any amenities offered at hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. My husband would stay there again. I felt that it was o.k.

Close to all majors routes. Nice desk staff, good breakfast, clean. Rooms set up well; clean. Quite for such a congested area.

We visited family and were gone most of the days, but every evening when we arrive around 10 p.m. on all nights but the first, had to go back to front desk to get our card key reactivated. Nothing major but irriating. Also the air condition, when you set it to cool ran about 10 mintues and then deactivated to fan only. By no means was cool temperature reached at anytime in that room. To tired to complain, just slept way to warm. The complimentary breakfast was good, attendant was nice, but for the price, this hotel needs either better management or maintenace. Was a convenient location for us, but if I had to book again, probably would not.

this is a wonderful location- very nice staff, helpful and friendly

The hotel is very pleasant. Pleased to have eggs for breakfast! But the night clerk was pretty rude. Kind of killed it for us. A bit pricy for what you get.

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was very nice...the lady who prepared breakfast said that she varies the meals each day so that if people stayed a few days, they wouldn't have to see the same food every day. She said she was very proud of the was she does her job. That showed through!

The hotel room was clean, the bathroom spotless. The beds were comfortable but made a crinkly sound when you moved, the mattress had a plastic cover. The man who checked us in was not especially friendly. The pool looked nice, however we did not swim. The breakfast provided was very good. It included bacon and eggs, muffins, cereal, etc. I think we could have chosen a less expensive hotel and gotten a room just as nice.

Everyone was nice, friendly, and helpfull. Room was clean. Service was good. Coffee and breakfest was great.
