We liked the pool and location. However the kitchen wasn’t the cleanest, and there were cigarette burns all over the bedding and furniture both inside and out. The hot water in the bath did not work. Someone’s idea of fixing the toilet paper holder was to wrap paper around it and shove it back in the wall. Apparently a guard can tell me 3x to not have your overpriced $10 drinks in the pool, but no one would shut up the marijuana smoking college kids that wouldn’t stop screaming and hollering like a literal pack of monkeys, at night.

Came here for a beach vacation. Nice property close to beach, nice pool. Only complaints would be people saving pool chairs with towels when they are not supposed to. Other minor complaint would be waiting on elevators. Elevators need to be serviced. Overall a great vacation and would stay here again.

Location was great but far to many inconsistencies in the place; room had wires hanging, the internet never worked in the room (1920), the master bed was broken and never fixed, the balcony furniture was broken and rusted through, kitchen lacked so many things it was hard to cook, fridge drawer was broken, lint trap to dryer was missing the holder, elevators are horrible we took the stairs up the 19 floors on several occasions a day because the elevators where to packed and slow, the indoor pool as closed for maintenance the entire time we were there, and the worst part of the place is that you have to wear these plastic club looking bands at all times (which was not the bad part) but if you lose it they cost $50.00 to get it replaced; we went parasailing and my daughters band got caught on one of the straps and flew off her wrist while we were comin down, they still were charging us the 50.00 or she couldn’t stay there. These are small children, do you know how stressful it is as to make sure your kids didn’t leave out the room without checking their bands and asking and checking for bands every hour to make sure they could get back onto you the property. Beautiful beach and perfect location.

The elevator and parking was ridiculous. It took anywhere between 25 to 30 min 4 the elevator and the parking was so small and tight u couldn't hardly get around the curb. Something need to be done I would not be returning.

Hotel was nice... on the outside. The rooms were not very roomy or comfortable. Great location. A LOT of hidden fees

I won’t rehash my checkin experience except to say it was the worst I have ever had in my life. Elevators are not sufficient for the quantity of guests at the resort. 5 minute minimum to have an elevator show up and most times already full. The parking lot is crowded and if you are on the upper decks it could take 10 to 15 minutes to drive down. Our room was nicely appointed on the corner of a high floor. The view of the beach and the sunsets was spectacular. Wifi and internet were horrible. Bouncing nearly all day and night. Our master kept throwing the breaker if we plugged in one too many phones in the room while the fan was running. If you had to take elevators near the trash chutes you were in for a nasty surprise when you got to the ground floor. Vomit inducing stench. We were never happier to leave PCB as we pulled out of the garage one last time. We won’t be back to this or any other property managed by Counts-Oakes.

Bed linen could have been better. sunken mattress in master. Air conditioner wasn't cooling but they fixed it.

great location, condo dissatisfying

Thank you for notifying us of the issues you experienced during your recent stay at Shores of Panama. In researching the maintenance issues I did see where several maintenance issues were reported and addressed during the stay. Unfortunately I do not have record of the broken bed reported during the stay. As for the property bands, those are required by the condo association to make sure everyone using the onsite facilities are guests staying on the property and those are required at all resorts in the area. They are not required to be worn by children under 8 years old as they should be accompanied by an adult wearing an arm band at all times. The condo association also made the determination to close the inside pool due to public health and safety reasons that were unavoidable. They are working on the necessary repairs. The elevators can be busy during peak season and during check in/out times. We suggest guests staying during peak times plan outings to avoid the high volume times.
