Run down, room was in bad shape/damaged
Owner was very accomodating and friendly.The room was clean and spacious. Good water pressure. Beds were comfortable...overall, a very pleasant stay!
The owners were very welcoming and accommodating! The room was a perfectly cool temp which is so important, and clean. Really loved that the mattress had an extra protector on it to deter unwelcome pests. Beach access is about a 5 minute walk away which is a plus. Definitely will stay here again with my partner in the future!
It was close enough to the beach to walk there and see sunrise with our cup of coffee
It was so convenient to the beach area. Easy walkable distance to beach and didn't have cross any busy streets esp with children in tow. Property, room was pretty sparse with respect to amenities, but we came for the beach, not the room, so it was fine by us. The room was quiet, although i knew the place was full. Staff was friendly as well. The front desk lady even called me as soon as the room was ready, and that was even before we got to town. That is great. overall, we would recommend this place and stay here again for sure.
Good, solid walls! I very rarely heard any noise from other guests staying at the hotel. In the hallway, I could hear screaming babies and loud children. Inside my room, I couldn't hear any of that. The hotel is on a busy road, and there was no traffic noise at all.
The room was very clean and it was very easy to check in. The pool and breakfast area are closed for COVID at the moment but it was ok to stay there for a night.
The place was overall clean. Missed the breakfast and the pool. Both closed due to covid-19.
Small locally owned hotel with small rooms and a feel like a college dorm. Pool closed. No breakfast.
They are clearly in the process of making some updates but the staff was amazingly kind and helpful!
Overall, my experience was a good one. Staff was wonderful. However it is an older hotel and a few items need immediate attention. The room air conditioner didn’t work properly and the lamps over the night stand did not work,

The experience was great. My husband and I loved it. Small, quiet and peaceful, we are definitely going back for our first anniversary, it's close to the beach and local restaurants. It's also very easy to find.
Friendly staff, good location , older small hotel but clean and updated . It was good!
I didn't realize I was on the 3rd floor til I got there and that they did not have an elevator - so beware! Everytime we needed ice or something had to go up and down stairs, even with our bags. Had some trouble with the Wi-Fi also, though the desk was able to get that up for us. Overall not bad, I guess, for the money.
The staff of the Outer Banks Inn were excellent. Prior to our arrival, they emailed information that we needed regarding access to the area for the Fourth of July. During our stay they were very helpful with information about the area. We would stay there again if our travel/vacation plans called for a place near the beach, in walking distance of good eating spots, and reasonable in price.
I would never stay here again. The place is old & needs updating. Cant believe they get almost $100.00 a night. Ugh
