I booked a non smoking single. I arrived only to be told they didn't have A non smoking room available. I asked for a refund only to be told I had to call Orbitz.. so it's after 9pm,I have NO room and after 30 minutes on the phone I'm told my refund will post to my account within 15 days.. Beware!
The room was gross. The walls were dirty, the fridge was dirty, the tub was stained, there were roaches. The place was gross. The whole place was run down and in major need of repairs. The air conditoner worked but was so noisy it was difficult to hear the 80's tube style TV. There were holes in the walls and doors. Just gross!!
This is the most disgusting place on the face of the earth. If my husband had not already paid for a week I would have not set foot in this place. I used 2 containers of lysol wipes before I could even sit down in room. Walls covered with filth, boogers smeared on walls above headboard. Carpet was black with stains. Bathroom had dries urine around toilet. And pretty sure the 100 bites on my ankles are from bed bugs. If I were given $10,000 to stay in this room again, I would turn it down. The rates are $400 per week for a kitchenette, but quality of rooms are worth about -$4,000,000,000. This place needs shut down.
This was the worst place that I have ever stayed in my life. If I were not leaving early the next morning to fly out of there, I would not have stayed. It was filthy, the toilet was not secure to the floor, the shower was just in a hole in the wall, the doors had been broken into. DO NOT STAY HERE.
Worst experience that I have ever had. It started as soon as we checked in. I had printed my reservation which quoted one price and then the lady at the front charged me about $11 more and told me that I would have to take care of it with Magnuson Hotels. She did not even try to help me out. The rooms are nasty. The cable for the tv is held on the wall with clear tape. The air conditioner didn't even cool. The tv didn't work properly. I would suggest that people not stay there!
I should have left sooner but was tired from driving. Covered in bedbug bites from 1night stay. Had them for over a week, large welts on my arms and face. Knew I shouldn't,t have stayed there. Looked nice from the outside, very deceiving.
Do not stay here. Rooms are horrible. We checked in and looked at the room and turn around and checked out. Now we are being charged on our credit card even though we have a receipt showing our credit. Hope we will get this straight. I can't believe this place has not been torn down.
We stayed at the hotel located at 1200 S. Meridian Ave in OKC on 12/31/13 and it was worse than horrible. I'd booked the room online with Yahoo Travel and when we arrived to check-in, I begin to notice the office equipment was falling apart (items taped together on the wall with scotch tape). At check-in, the clerk tried to get me to give her my credit card to be charged again at their rates and had to call someone to figure out how to check me in since I'd booked my room online. After that confusion was straightened out, she checked us in and gave me a check-in receipt and that's when I DISCOVERED THAT THEIR PRICE WAS $17.54 LESS THAN WHAT ID' PAID ONLINE!!!! When we entered our room, I wanted to turn right around and leave. My husband convinced me that it was just a night's stay and would be ok, especially since we had plans to be elsewhere in 40 mins. The door was not secure (very loose in the jam), drapes were extremely worn and torn in both rooms, the sofa upholstery was disgusting as well as the carpet (I kept my shoes on the entire I was in the room). There were holes in the walls, one being where the cable was ran through from one room to the other but no cover plate, the 220 outlet for the heat & AC unit was not covered properly, the electric cord to the lamp was spliced and had wire nuts on it, the smoke alarm had been partially painted over, the heater was not working properly (warm air from center vents & cold air from outer vents), the walls were very dirty, the bathroom ceiling had water damage, the tub didn't drain properly and worst of all... when I woke up the next morning, I discovered roaches in the rooms!!!!!!! I could go on and on but will stop here.
The owner of this place should be ashamed and be court ordered to stay in his own property. It is filthy. It seems that it is more of an extended stay for construction workers. That being said, there is still no excuse for how bad this place is.
Do not believe any of the pictures or description from the website. This hotel is really bad! The carpets were very dirty, and overall the facility was very worn and shabby looking. Even though they advertise as a fully equipped kitchen unit there are no pots, pans, plates/silverware, or any other cooking utensils so to actually use the stove or oven you would have to go and buy all of your needed items (which we did). The wifi was margianal (sometimes worked, sometimes didn't). There seemed to also be alot of low-life people staying here including prostitutes and pimps and druggies. I would never stay here again, even if the cost of other hotels in the area are a bit higher....
