One employee can ruin an entire experience, so it is important for staff to be trained on quality customer service. When I’m paying over $1000 for 3 nights, I expect to leave the lobby happy one way or another, but when concerns were expressed and I was told “too bad” I will bring my business elsewhere. We had stayed here earlier in the summer, also spending over $1000, so we will bring our $2000 worth of business elsewhere, “too bad.”
Lovely stay. Room was clean and big, staff was friendly and accommodating. Pool and hot tub were big and lovely. Location was close to beach, parking a bit tough

I don't like being charged an amenity fee. It should be included in the rate being advertised so a consumer can honestly compare rates of competing hotels. I am glad that the congress is looking in to the legality of charging these fees in addition to advertised rates.
The staff was not very impressive-front desk people that is. The motel was comfortable and clean. The breakfast was good and the breakfast hostess was great!! Very authentic woman!!
The pool, hottub, and room were AMAZING. Very Clean. The maintenance worker was awesome.
The room (2 queen, 1 twin) was large and comfortable. It was also very clean and had plenty of extra pillows and towels available. My kids loved the giant pool and hot tub and while the free breakfast was only adequate the staff was great at keeping everything stocked! Checking in and out was super easy and the office staff was excellent, friendly and helpful. The hotel is only steps from a trolley stop and several food options. You could definitely walk to Footbridge Beach although we chose to drive there at 4pm when parking was free. Overall our experience was very good and I would definitely stay here again.
