Nothing fancy but fairly close to Lagoon. The room is nice the rest of the hotel is outdated. The pool was crammed and a covid cesspool.
Room said it would accommodate 5 people but it only accommodated 4. Their was no pull out couch and when we asked to get a hide a bed they said that the room wasnt big enough. So one person had to sleep on the floor.
Staff were professional and the room seemed clean, however the sticker used to “prove” the room was clean didn’t tear, rather just pulled away from door, thus didn’t really serve its purpose and there was no evidence the room had been disinfected. Most disturbing and disappointing was the number of unmasked patrons in the pool area. I counted 10 adults sitting in a circle drinking and talking, not one wearing a mask. In addition there were at least 20 kids in the pool and hot tub. In the era of a deadly pandemic and a state where masks are required for gatherings, I am shocked this would be allowed in your hotel.
Friendly employees, carpets could use a cleaning especially in staircases
there was a nice breakfast which is normal but also a small dinner was served.

When we got there it was super busy they only had one person on staff, she was obviously very stressed but super polite and quick. The hotel was very clean, and nice. The gym was the best I've been to in a while.

The rooms at this Hampton Inn were very nice very modern and comfortable. The only caveat is that I would list is that their bathrooms do not have fans. If you go number two you're going to smell it in your room.
everything and everybody at this location was great. The folks who cleaned the room did great and went to extra lengths to make things nice. The only down side was parking. Guess when a place is good then they're busy and everybody drives. good job, will stay here again.

Had a Project meeting at 7 and grabbed a breakfast bag and extra water and made the meeting on time, thanks to the staff at the desk.
Had a very nice stay. Good breakfast, had a family of five and everyone was comfortable.
Nothing earth shattering to report, hotels are a little pricey in this area and the hotel is a little worn in some areas. Breakfast was fantastic.
We came in late Xmas eve and were immediately brought to our comfortable and very clean Rooney. We were offered service on Xmas day as well. The house breakfast was ok, but since it was included, who is to complain.
Every employee we encountered was overly friendly and helpful. Perfect location for Lagoon and many of the stores we needed were very close. Rooms were very clean and the breakfast was delicious. We will stay again next year. We had 3 rooms and all were great. Pool was fun for all.

It sounds like you might have booked the wrong room type. Our Double Queen Suites sleep five which has two queen beds and one pullout sofa bed but it sounds like you booked a Double Queen Standards which only has two queen beds and can not fit a rollaway. The lead housekeeper themselves put the stickers on the room. Sometimes the placement can be a bit off thus causing it to just pull instead of breaking down the middle but even before covid, the rooms were cleaned to great expectations as well as sanitized. Also, you would be able to tell if the seal was repeatedly pulled because it will start to look worn after 2 - 3 times. Before cleaning a room old seals are thrown away immediately. As for the pool, it was by reservation only meaning people of the same family/group are allowed to be in there together without needing a mask. That was one big group that made a reservation for the pool thus having it to themselves and no need for a mask due to the fact they reserved that time slot for them only but we appreciate the concern. We hope for another chance for you to give us an all 10 stay! Thank you for staying with us.
