This was a very nice hotel for our party of 12 people (4 rooms). The young adults and kids loved the pool area outside. Unfortunately, the mosquitoes are horrible once the sun goes down and they come into the hotel itself every time someone opens the doors to the pool area. The complimentary breakfast was wonderful, and had lots of room for our big group of 12 people.
Stayed here in late March, 2019, with my husband and two kids on a spring break trip. FANTASTIC place: 1) Great location (just outside of Moab on the main road that leads to Arches, and on the Arches side of town so you don't have to drive thru the Moab mess to get where you're going!). 2) Great rooms. Relatively new hotel with a well-laid out room for a family. 3) VERY solid walls. We had a room adjacent to the pools, and the hotel was busy with families while we were there, and we weren't disturbed by noise at all. 4) Great pool and hot tub area. 5) On the river = great sunsets 6) Great breakfast = happy family before we set out for a busy days. 7) Great value for the price. We will definitely stay here again on a future family visit to Moab.
This was our very last night in Moab before our drive to Salt Lake City Utah airport the next day. The pool area was lovely after a long hike. I loved the covered lounge 2-person chairs. It is located right next to the Colorado River which was scenic....when it was hot. As the evening cooled off, and we went out again to dip into the hot tub, the mosquitos were TERRIBLE. You could not stay outside. I guess this is the drawback of being by the river. The morning was no better, and I could actually see then swarming through the window. I asked a staff member, and she told me their was an above average amount of them this year and that their area had been sprayed just 3 days earlier. The room itself was clean and the typical Springhill. I did appreciate that the shower/toilet was a separate space from the vanity/sink. Overall, it was a nice stay for one night, although our rate seemed abnormally high compared to other options in the area and our other stays during our vacation.
Great property – we stayed here in early April and had the bigger family room with bunk beds. It was so worth paying the extra and getting the bigger rooms. The kids really enjoyed the bunk beds. The pool area is great after a long day or being in the Outdoors. There’s like 3 or 4 hot tubs, the pool is great for the kids. The breakfast that was included in the morning is decent and everyone can find something to eat. The property is clean, plenty of free parking, the staff was very friendly. It’s little out of town, so you have to drive or ride your bikes back in to town. Overall, a really nice property if you’re looking to spend a few days or even just passing through Moab – would definitely stay here again.
Nice, clean hotel. Super setup with the heated pool outside, although getting here late and leaving early allowed no time for it. There were signs at the breakfast that said Utah law does not allow removal of food from dining room. Maybe true, but odd.
I really like the layout of the rooms (separate toiletwash basin room from shower/sink vanity) and breakfast included was good. pool area looked great for kids. we had nice view of colorado river, but the mosquitos kept us from enjoying the beautiful river walk. needed mosquito repellant in convenience store!
Great place to stay before and after our river rafting trip. Rooms were spacious and nice. Wifi worked well, pool was a nice place to hang out. They gave us a room to store our luggage the day of the rafting trip along with leaving our car in the parking lot.
Oh where do I start. The pros: nice rooms. Great pool set up. Lovely location on the Colorado River. Now the "fun" stuff. Arrived to the hotel around 4 PM. Room wasn't ready. "10 minutes, sir." 45 minutes later I ask again (we were sitting in the lobby) "Let me check." I confirmed the room would be top floor and quiet; we had awakened at 4 AM Boston / 2 AM Moab time. "Oh yes." So..... Screaming family next to us. Crying. Spanking. Yelling. Turning the TV on in the middle of the night. I mentioned it the next day and the woman said, "we don't separate family rooms from adults traveling alone." Do you think that crying all night and turning on the TV in the middle of the night is fine? "Yes, it is your choice what to do in a room." So I asked what if I had cranked up the TV in the middle of the night. "That is your choice." Oy. Can I move? "We'll get back to you." Never did. Internet access: simply broken. For three days. At check out they couldn't send me a receipt because they had no working email. Breakfast: Is it possible to get Fat Free Milk? "No. Take what is there." It was in here yesterday. "Oh." Walks away. Um yeah. Pool: Lovely but... Towels: they don't seem to replace them. So by the evening they were gone. Of course there were over 100 dirty towels laying ALL over chairs, the ground, etc. No on picks them up. And people seemed unable to put them in the bins. We looked out from our room at 10 PM and it was atrocious. Housekeeping: the first day they knocked at our door at 4:55 PM. We decided not to have them clean. (You are given 250 points per day.) We were barely in the room so didn't have them clean on any day. When I checked out I asked about the points. Housekeeping did not mark down that we didn't have them clean. Nice woman at checkout said she would add the points and send a receipt with the points. Receipt received - no points. Am very happy to be out of the hotel.
Modern rooms, nice showers/bathroom. Wifi spit out errors our entire stay about too many people connected, try again later. Makes it really hard to plan for your next day when your signal for phone is too weak to bring up web sites. Front Desk could not help us and brushed it off as an issue with our device but plenty of other people had same issue we talked to at breakfast. For the price we paid, we expected more. How about some pancakes or a waffle make for kids at breakfast? Pool was disgusting if you wear goggles, must have been 10 band aids all dragging on the bottom of the pool as I swam around. For the money, it should have been way better.
It is a new property and is conveniently located near the Arches National Park entrance. We had a queen size room, and it was comfortable and clean. We were in Moab over a very busy Memorial Day weekend, and it was close to all the things we were doing in the area. Would stay again if in Moab.
