Red Lion Hotel & Conference Center St. George

Was great to be in St. George. Construction on site was a bit noisy though.

This is an inexpensive hotel with spacious rooms and a pleasant lobby. Check in was remarkably slow.

We traveled with a pet and were welcome here The overall facilities were very good and it is a good place to stay

Hotel was clean, but this is an older facility that could use some updates, in particular building two which house the economy units.

The room was a little run down and wet carpet made for a musty smell, but it was okay for one night. Included breakfast was great and staff was friendly.

Fun pool, nice facility, wonderful staff. Comfortable room and bed. Overall, a great experience.

I've been to this hotel a few times in the last few years. The first time was great, but EVERYTIME I stay here it gets just a little worse. This time the fridge didn't work. I let staff know and nothing has been fixed or addressed. This seems To be a theme. I loved this hotel the first time I stayed, but I think this time solidified avoiding this hotel in the future. I travel several Times a month for work and I often "live out" of hotels for much of the month. It does suck when either there is not hot water or the fridge does not work.

The hotel room was dirty had hair on bathroom and beds and it smell. Low quality Expensive the hotel has a motel quality will never go back again.

the kids loved the swing pool, that's where the kids want to be

The main hotel lobby area seemed fine. Pool looked like it was well kept. Breakfast was typical fare for mass production. Scrambled eggs, sausage, gravy and biscuits, waffles, mini-muffins, etc. No shortage there. Our room, however, was another story. Cleanliness was fine, it was dated. Towels were pretty bad. The biggest problem with the room was the air system. There was absolutely no way to control the temperature in the room. Knobs had been ripped off of the unit who knows how long ago and so all it did was constantly whir with room temperature air. There was no way to adjust it. Hotel staff seemed indifferent in that. They said they would look into it for the future, but there is no way it had not been reported before. This is gross negligence on their part, knowingly putting people there. For what we paid for the room, we should have had a nice room with functioning controls and better content to the room. We paid over $200 for a 1-2 star experience. Hard pass forever more.

Hotel staff was accommodating especially front desk. Room was very comfortable and seemed clean, hallway stairs and common areas of hotel were very dirty, carpet needed replacing just about everywhere. A lot of amenities like swimming pool hot tub and workout room which was a plus for a cheap night. Room seemed clean bed was comfortable.

I'm not sure things were actually changed or washed. A bit sketchy for me.

Check in was smooth and easy when we got to our room the air condition wasn't working, they only had 1 fan they could give us to use for the night and it sounded like a jet engine, did not get any sleep that night the next morning they moved us rooms, about 15 minutes of being in the new room the ceiling started to leak, the bathroom had mold growing around the tub and there was old food left in the fridge that smelled. The staff was nice and tried to help but it was evident that this place is not well cared for and needs some updating

The hotel is very old and in need of an update. When we checked in it would have been nice if the desk clerk explained that we would be in an interior room. This meant that when you opened your blinds we had a view of the pool tables and game area that is in the middle of the hotel. Not pleasing to the eye at all and very, very noisy.

The price was decent and hotel is clean. We love it.

This property used to be a residence hotel, the weekly rates are still marked on the doors inside. I believe that Red Lion has just recently purchased this property as not all of the signage has been changed over to the Red Lion name but they should have taken some time to remodel the rooms before starting to rent them as out as this property is definitely a stain on the Red Lion brand name. We stay at lots of Red Lion properties and they are usually a step above the normal hotel but this property was run down, dirty and the a/c did not work properly which is a must in St George.

Great location. Very well kept. My familys new hotel for our road trips to California..

PROS: Great pool, great location, comfy beds. CONS: Premium room needs to be redone. Musty smell and bathroom with cracked tub liner. Dark.

Red Lion was close to the hospital, shopping, and restaurants. The breakfast was very good, but it needs a variety of fruits not just one.

Quick check in-friendly staff. Room was quiet and very clean-would stay again
