Great place to stay with an onsite restaurant and awesome view. Check-in staff is very friendly and helpful. The lobby, restaurant and rooms have been professionally decorated and are clean. Interior and exterior are well maintained. The beds are very comfortable. I wasn't feeling very well the first evening and our server got the chef to make me a plain baked potato and some crackers. Also, there are a couple of other restaurants just a short drive away. One of the best places we stayed at during our two week vacation.

This place is an old motel. That is fine with me but the website makes it look like there are these gracious places to sit with a drink and book and enjoy the view. That is not the case. The website is very misleading on how nice the “resort” is also. It does a lot of things- tee pee, tiny house and motel. But it is not a resort and doesn’t capitalize on good outdoor seating for views. Went to their pizza place and it was fine. Staff was dismissive and would take your order while walking away to next task. I would look at other options if I come back. Also I may stay again but have different expectations.

Not much in the area around Capitol Reef. NP was great but things otherwise limited. Hotel was best choice in the area.

Great stay! Comfortable beds, clean room. Highly recommend La Cueva Mexican restaurant very close by, not your usual national park fare. Everything was delicious. The hotel was a pleasant respite after a long day of hiking and we slept well. Price was high to us but overall we were ok to pay for what we got.

Our room at this resort looked out on a stunning view of Capitol Reef's red rocks. Our area of the resort was built into the side of hill--we had balcony view yet the door to our room was level with our parking spot. The onsite restaurant food was good with very good service. The pool was nice with good lounging options. Check-in was easy too.

The hotel is amazing, all the amenities. Laundry only a few doors down and the machines are huge. Super close to Capitol Reef National Park which is also a WOW.
