This is a very clean hotel! Very nice accommodations, great view of the canyons and easy access to Canyon Reef NP. We enjoyed dinner close by in Torrey at Cafe Diablo. It was delicious! I highly recommend this hotel and this restaurant!

I love this resort. It’s a great place to stay with kids when traveling to Capitol Reef, with easy access to the park, a great pool, and gorgeous grounds/views. The rooms are fully equipped, clean, and comfortable. The on-site restaurant is overpriced for breakfast ($10 for a basic buffet, unless that has changed recently) but the dinner options are surprisingly good! I’ll continue to stay here when I’m in the area, unless of course I’ve got the dogs—who aren’t welcome here.

Room is a bit old. Also not very quiet with noise from neighbors and upstairs. It's ok for one night sleep, but definitely not "resort" like.

This place is amazing! The room was exactly as pictured (king suite), clean, comfortable and spacious. The shower was great! Loved the privacy curtains separating the vanity area. They had TWO luggage racks in the closet, which I really appreciated. The teepees and covered wagons looked super fun. We enjoyed sitting by the gas fireplace and looking at the stars. The Big Dipper appeared to be right outside our door and the Milky Way was fantastic. We would for sure stay here again and try out all the amenities.

Loved the views from our room, the patio and especially the swing outside!

It was a pleasant surprise - the exterior was very "vanilla" and seemed like a typical cheap motel, but the interior was beautifully appointed. Elegant and pristine clean. My only beef is that I paid an extra $10 for a room with a patio and a view, and got neither.

Stayed in the covered wagon , six of us. Good, clean accommodations . Big drawback was having to walk to the bathroom. Being older, I didn’t like that. But the bathroom was very nice & clean. Well appointed. Next time I would like to try the tiny house. I

Desk staff was rude. Had to wait while she told us twice she was “busy doing other things”. Other than that place was nice.

The hotel restaurant food was so-so because there weren’t a lot of options and the food tasted ok. Also, they stop serving breakfast at 10am.

Nice facility and very close to Capitol Reef National Park. Restaurant is open for breakfast (which costs $10) and dinner. Rooms were clean and nicely appointed. Our entire wing of rooms, however, did not have hot water for showers, which we didn't know until the morning. No offer to reduce our $220 room rate due to the inconvenience.

We had a cabin but could of had a stagecoach or a teepee instead.great if you have kids.

Unit was on the lower floor. We could hear footsteps and toilet flushing from the unit above, and toilets and showers from the units on the side. I’m guessing corners were cut on the construction cost. Given the room rate charged, I expected more.

There aren't a whole lot of options in the Capital Reef area for places to stay. However, we were very pleased with the Capital Reef Resort. We stayed one night and the check-in was fairly quick and the rooms were well sized and clean. The only thing that was not so great was the sound isolation between the rooms. We were able to hear the people in the room next to us a little too easily, even though they weren't talking very loud. The location is great, just a few miles from the park entrance, plus a couple of miles from the center of town. The resort has a restaurant that serves a breakfast buffet in the mornings for a reasonable price with good enough options. Overall a good experience staying here. We were early in the season so the tee-pee and wagon rooms were not set up yet. However, they look like they could be fun to stay in.

Everything was phenomenal! I will come back ! Love it all!

This was a very unique experience. The resort is growing everyday and it will be great to visit again. My family of four stayed in the wagon and it was super cool. The bathroom assigned to our wagon was very nice too. If you are looking to camp but don't like to rough it, then this is for you. As our wagon was just brand new there was two glitches. There was no phone in the room. But it is not something we really needed as the staff where driving around in golf carts to help if needed. The second issue was that we arrived on a hot day that was soon to get very cool at night, 54 degrees to be exact. The cooling system was working very nicely and on our arrival the room was air conditioned and cool. Unfortunately this unit did not heat! When I spoke to the staff, they sent the maintaence out right away and within 35 minutes had a space warmer in the room. It did still get chilly after 1 am. But it was still well worth a trip! The fire pit in the evening was special. We picked up marshmallows at the local store and roasting it was the kids highlight. All in all, I would say experience the place. The town is small but the people are nice. The hotel dinner was surprisingly very nice! Hit the spot perfectly, nothing fancy. Swimming pool decent but could use some sprucing with changing area or bathroom. All in all, my family loved it and we have told so many people about it. We hope the hotel a lot of success and hope to be out with our extended family one day again.

Amazing views outside our room. Not much for extras , but the views make up for it. Usually pretty quiet.

There are better choices in the area. For food, go to the bbq patio across the street or drive 5 minutes to Torrey
