We were pleasantly surprised to find such a nice and clean hotel in the midst of the canyons. Staff were nice and helpful too. Only downside is that there weren’t any restaurants close by. It was a perfect rest stop for us after traversing many miles between parks. Highly recommend it!

Staff was very nice and additional discount given for the pool not being open. Con: motel is in remote location and I didn't catch this when booking.

Could not find the property; it was a good 45 minutes from Torrey, where address listed. Maps did not take us there, phones were “down”, per staff. They are aware of issue but no notes are listed on their description of hotel to help find the hotel. Pool was also “down” which was a big reason we chose the hotel. Pretty unapologetic about the whole thing.

Small quiet spot to stay and enjoy the nearby scenic locations. Theres nothing closeby as far as food or restaurants or anything for that matter. It definitely worked out for me, a out of the way from the hustle and bustle and connect with nature. A photographer's wet dream. Staff were extremely helpful, and hospitable.

Everything was good, the stuff is super friendly and accommodating; my only concern is that they should have the hot tub going; or disclose it at the time when you book your room, don’t advertise swimming pool and hot tub if it is not being used. Hence the reason I removed one star from my review.

It is the closest place to stay when visiting Capitol Reef Park. The staff is professional, welcoming, and the rooms are very clean.

There was nothing we liked, it looked like a nightmare. no one should go there, Ever! That was looking from the outside. We never went in, pool was covered and dirty, whirlpool/sauna empty, note on office door said... be back by three. Seems unprofessional to us.

This motel is a great choice for when you are visiting Capitol Reef National Park and the surrounding area. It is on the other side of the Park from Torrey and the distance to get to Capitol Reef is similar for each town. But coming from Rodeway Inn in Cainville, you pass gorgeous scenery you wouldn't otherwise see. As for the motel itself-it is quiet, the rooms are large, the beds are comfortable, breakfast is good, and the staff and owners go out of their way to accommodate their guests.

A good rest night in such small hotel and very convenient closeness to the Capitol Reef National Park

My Dad and I stopped here on the way through Utah on a coast to coast bike trip. It was a very clean and comfortable room. Honestly, I would stay here again if I ever ventured out here again. There is an amazing view of the mountains from the windows of all of the rooms. The continental breakfast was good the next morning. The staff was friendly. The only negative is that they were playing a two or three minute travel video about Utah on repeat during breakfast. It was tiring to listen to while I was eating and trying to relax into the day.

The place needed some upkeep, but for the money and convenience it fit the bill. You do need to travel for a hot meal. My SO other wasn't impressed by the water, it was kind of hard.

The perfect location just outside the national park. Nice pool Jacuzzi wasn't working. Look up from the pool and you see these shear rock formations. The lady who ran the hotel was very nice.

Tina, the manager was very nice and the hotel was very clean! This is the only hotel right outside of Capitol Reef which is conveniant. They have a pool and guest laundry room, as well as a little store to buy microwavable meals, candy and drinks.

This place is on the highway in an isolated location. Staff was very engaging and helpful. Very clean, up to date. Hard bed. No eatery close by.

We chose this hotel because it was the only name hotel after our Natural Bridges starry night program. It was very basic with cold cereal for breakfast, no wifi, because of location. Fire alarm sounded for about a minute; surmise cigarette smoke. Spent less than 6 hours there. Had to wake up clerk at 2 a.m. because that's when we arrived. Doorbell may not have worked. We knocked. Truly an oasis in middle of night.

Loved it. Great place between Capitol Reef and Hanksville - nothing else in the area. Caleb and Becky do a wonderful job managing the property and providing their guests with personalized service! They certainly must face special challenges in such an isolated location, but you would never know it! Great job!

We couldn't believe there was a hotel in this desolate place. It is a great location for those traveling from Capitol Reef to Goblin Valley. If you want to spend the night on another planet-- stay here! The service was fantastic. Breakfast was great. Very clean. Lots of TV channels. No restaurant options nearby but microwave dinners available in lobby. Our kids had a terrific time playing and climbing on the dunes right next to the hotel.

Was not expecting much but a nice clean room... We were greeted by a wonderful person named [...]! Sweet as can be, then we opened our room to a very large spacious accommodation! Many pamphlets on area parks at the front desk, along with a wonderful notebook in the room with the areas attractions, with easy directions and maps to all. Then...[...] was there again in the morning, and made us our hot, delicious waffles to send us on our way! And to think...our room didn't have the upcoming facelift yet, that a portion of the rooms already had! Excellent experience...plus only a few minutes outside of Capital Reef National park....

Thank you for leaving us a review, even though we did not have the opportunity to offer you any services. We sometimes close our lobby before our check-in hours to allow our on-site staff a break. We sometimes cover our pool to protect it from debri, which leads to the cover becoming dirty, but keeps our pool clean. Our hot tub is up and running at this time as well. I hope you will make a reservation with us and check out our comfortable & clean rooms next time you are in the area.
