It may seem like I'm unhappy with the ratings I gave you, but Alex at the front desk more than made up for it Overall a very nice stay.
Friendly staff, great location.
The rooms were nice. Breakfast was very good. Staff was polite and helpful.
Pros: good price, great location for attending a dance competition at the Peery Egyptian Theatre, large room, good breakfast, great shower pressure with massaging head. Cons: parking is confusing and inconvenient. We had to find a place to park on the street (nothing was available) in order to get a key that would lift the parking garage arm and the garage is a bit of a walk from the hotel. Sign that direct which of the three parking entries to use and which way to walk from car to hotel would be helpful. Couch cushions were ripped. Shower caused water to cover floor in bathroom and make it very slick. Walls were not very sound proof. Curtains didn’t completely block street lamp directly outside of window. Overall: we would stay they again for the price, convenience of location, and breakfast.
I was not able to sleep because of sireins, loud motorcycles, souped up muscle cars and yelling. I know these are not uncommon in down town areas, but this hotel is not sound proof at all.
Beautiful nicely restored historical building. Next to everything.
Beautiful property in the heart of Ogden Utah. Due to covid house keeping does not come. We were told to schedule cleanings 24 hours in advance. Which we did 2 separate times during our 6 day stay. Nobody ever came. We asked for fresh towels numerous times which finally arrived the day before we left, and we were only given 2 towels for 3 people. The parking can be a bit frustrating as you have to walk around the block on icy pathways. If you forget to bring something from the room its quite a trek to go back and retrieve it.
Parking was very confusing and I wasn't able to get the keyless function to work on my phone. I still had to check in at the front desk to get a key.
The property is well taken care of. The room and bed was very comfortable and clean. You can’t go wrong booking a stay at this hotel. I really like the hotel. I would definitely stay again.
close for my needs
I
Didn't know they were going to charge for parking...
Air conditioning wasn’t working and the front desk didn’t seem to concerned about getting us another room. They said there cleaning staff was short handed.
Very clean
The room was clean, and it was nice to have breakfast included. The service was not great. When asked if a pack n play was available, they just responded “I don’t think so.” Not very helpful for families traveling with toddlers.
