There was no cart to move luggage up the very slow and hot elevator. The room was decent but there was a dog nearby barking for a couple hours. Really annoying. Management was slow to respond and make the dog stop. And no breakfast.

If all you need is a clean room

The room was clean. If you’re expecting anything else then look somewhere else. All places to stay are conveniently located. The island is small so worry about getting around if even on foot. I considered a lower rating.

We arrived early, and can't complain about not being able to check in early, but found it annoying to go back at 2:00 as instructed and still being unable to check in. Room was ready at 3:00. Thereafter everything was satisfactory. Room was clean, quiet and comfortable. We did not request maid service during our 3 day stay. Had no problem receiving a hair dryer and extra towels, soap and coffee pods.

Wonderful location, just down the street from the ferry terminal. Great shopping close by. Golf cart and bikes available. Nice sitting area in front of the rooms. The hotel is old and needs some care. No frills no hair dryer. Dogs allowed which is so nice. We still had a great stay and vacation.

The Anchorage was located in a super location. I loved having the area on our floor where we could sit for morning coffer or an after dinner drink. The bath and beds were great. We had to find towels, the front lock was not working well. When I could not get in I went to get someone who basically said it was me...until he could not get in. We struggled with that the entire time we were there. My main complaint was that the floors were just filthy. We all remove our shoes at our homes, so we did the same but my feet got dirty immediately. We adjusted and because of our response to the door lock, we kept quiet about the floors. I think for the price, the unit should have been clean. We were there 3 nights but we had to go get more towels, more toilet paper and more coffee. Just not my level of cleanliness or service.

We spent 4 nights at the Anchorage and enjoyed our stay. The hotel was neat and tidy. Our room was rather plain but it appeared each room was slightly different and interesting per room variations. However being at the end of the third floor gave us access to a seating area on the balcony with awesome views of the harbor. Also not to be missed was a visit to the pool which has a very unique location in front of the hotel just about in the harbor. 4 stars, not 5, only because the room was plain and bathroom needed a refresh. Great convenient place to stay, especially for pets.

It was in a great location. The view from the Inn was spectacular. The room was adequately cleaned (I did see a few things.). Very comfortable. I would stay there again.
