Everything was good except on one occasion the towels weren't replaced during cleaning but it was remedied with a quick phone call.

Staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful. Delicious breakfast. Extremely clean.

it was a great relief from staying in the Hospital room for 6 nights

The hotel was decent. No bells and whistles. Not a lot of drama checking in and out of the room.

Had a great time, the room was great and can't wait to visit again..

It was a busy weekend in Norfolk. 5K and Half Marathon, ODU football game, annual Christmas parade, and a few weddings. We were just in town to see friends (but signed up for the 5K anyway). The room was great. Parking was easy. Check in and check out was fast. And the location was perfect.

The Residence Inn did a great job on our one night stay in Norfolk. Very friendly staff, great breakfast options, and great room. Location was great as well. Highly recommend.

My husband and our 3 small children all stayed in a king studio and there was PLENTLY of room. These rooms are very spacious and clean. The pool and jacuzzi were well taken care of and the complimentary breakfast was amazing! I will def be staying here again!

Very good stuff.Room with plenty of space.Breakfast very good.Only concern:I did not like the presence of dogs. The staff was very helpful and was very cooperative to make reservations for taxis.Reasonably priced. In a nutshell,a hotel to recommend.

We were only staying overnight, but the place and the people were great. Nice, clean, beautiful room, up to date and a friendly, helpful staff. GREAT.

The breakfast food selection was good, but the serving time was short, only until 10:00 am, and they started pulling in the food and closing the doors. It would be nice if on Sat & Sun. the food-line could be open until 11:00. The hotel was really full, and the 2 garbage containers for breakfast dishes were both maxed-out to over-flowing.

I decided to stay at this hotel for a long weekend (beach and Busch Gardens) based on some good reviews and the downtown location. Some quick points.. Pros: 1. The staff was good. 2. The room was nicely furnished (2 flat screen TV's, kitchen, sitting area) 3. The complimentary breakfast was pretty good; with a fairly big variety of food. Cons: 1. The location was OK, but I guess I was expecting a bit more from downtown Norfolk 2. Paying $18/day for parking was a bit annoying; I would think the hotel would negotiate a better price with the vendor. It's not like the garage was full of business. 3. The gym was pretty sparse. There was just some cardio machines and free weights. I would stay there again.

The Residence Inn was an ideal location for a business trip. The room was comfortable and provided all of the necessary amenities. The breakfast and dinner options were great!!

The complete studio with kitchen was amazing!!! The room was big and the beds very comfortables. I will definitely come back with my family next month!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room fullfilled my expectations.

some things that I did while I was a guest at this hotel was working out at the nice gym and I also took advantage of the lovely indoor pool and hot tub that's located right next to the gym. I was glad that I chose this hotel because the location was in the heart of downtown and was close to everything. I walked to the mall which was only minutes away as well as the bars, clubs and dining. I loved everything about it and to be honest I didn't want to leave. It was so convenient and everything in that hotel is so elegant and I just loved walking through the amazing lobby everyday. The staff was very accommodating and they also made me feel at home.

Hotel is new, rooms spacious, our dog was comfortable but limited "green" walking area. Fast, efficient elevator and pleasant lobby/breakfast area. Interior design well done.

This is a new hotel. Very nice. Parking is $15/day.

I enjoyed everything about the hotel. I liked that there was a kitchen in the room but I wish there was a bigger selection of foods downstairs in the lobby to cook.
